Positive: The staff was very helpful, the security was reassuring and the amenities made it feel like a home. There is only a washing machine on site so we hung laundry around the room to dry. For my fellow USA tourists: you might have to use the switches to turn on all the appliances like the fridge and water heater. Everything does work, but it's not the same setup as we use. My Bengali is very limited but the staff is patient and willing to assist, just ask. This is a good place to stay if you want to be in a nontourist part of town. It's close to shopping and dining options the locals use. The traffic noise does calm down at night and the windows face the neighboring building instead of the street.

Negative: I often wished for a sharper and second knife. The kitchen things have been well used (broken spatula handle, burned plastic food storage) by others. The shower is better than a campground one but less than a Motel 6 is where I would rate it. Some times the water pressure is low; give it a moment to get going.

Negative: A plug point near the bathroom sink and one near the bed would help. The tap near the hot plate was dripping slowly. A light switch near the bed for bedside reading will be helpful.

Positive: Very comfortable, the staff, esp Sunil, were always there cleaning everything, changing the sheets when needed. We stayed 1 week and it had everything we would need: stove, pans, a washing machine, nice fridge. The location was unbeatable. We would definitely come back.

Negative: Nothing much. Just FYI, there’s a 5000 INR cash deposit they require. I would suggest that they inform the guests beforehand because we were only told when we there already. The deposit is understandable but even if we were tired, we had to go out again to get the cash.
