Positive: Loved the view from our room and the cliffside pathways near the hotel for walks. Stunning scenery. Restaurant was also delicious -- breakfast buffet was unreal there were so many choices and variety. You could also have the breakfast outside in the nice weather too which was lovely. We also had dinner twice at the resort and it was very good. Very nice staff as well at the resort overall. Very comfortable beds and nice, spacious room.

Negative: The pools were disappointing. The outside one was rather shallow and chilly -- more like a wading pool. But beautiful views from the pool area. The inside one was located in the spa area and was warm (also a bit shallow) but usually had kids in it. The spa area didn't feel very "spa-like" but I didn't use the services.

Summary: Beautiful resort with exceptional views of the ocean.

Positive: The room itself was fine. Food and drink very good.

Negative: Our ocean view room was directly over a large astroturf roof that blocked the view… very disappointing. The pool area wasn’t cleaned up very well, and too few lounge chairs. Location was not great.

Positive: Outside pool is beautiful. Restaurant/Bar area was large, clean, and very nice. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Lunch and Dinner selections were great and the food was excellent. Room was spacious, clean, and modern. Beds were very comfortable. Mini fridge stocked daily with water, alcohol, and snacks. Room also included a safe and robes for all 4 family members. Really enjoy the path/trail which I walked each morning(others jogged). It runs along the coast and eventually leads to Saint Pedro's hole and church. It also leads to natural pools(ocean).

Negative: Outside Pool was very cold for the middle of August and seemed to get colder as the day went on. Restaurant/Bar didn' t open until 11-12ish even though the pool is open and food isn't available until 1230-1. Better drinks (including non alcoholic) available only at the restaurant/bar and much more convenient while poolside. Bathroom glass enclosure is beautiful but the privacy screen is see-through depending on lighting and not ideal when room being used by entire family. Bath exhaust is operated by the hotel and not accessible within the room. Somewhat inconvenient but not the end of the world.

Summary: Excellent experience and will definitely stay here again.

Negative: Both pools are very shallow, no swimming possible. Very nice place but would not be 5* rated in Central Europe or the US. Bed is very soft
