Negative: No light from top floor downstairs - difficult to use bathroom during the night.

Positive: The house is well presented with nice finishing touches and well equipped. Rhiann is a great host, good communication throughout and great restaurant recommendations. We went to three of them and they were all very good. Quiet area with plenty of free on street parking.

Negative: A bit of a walk down hill to the sea front but walk does take you through a lovely park.

Positive: We were three male friends , travelling to a Spingsteen concert at the principality stadium. We found this property to be an excellent balance between comfort, cost , and in a great location. Excellently managed property in Penarth adjacent to Cardiff bay. We parked , free of charge, outside the property. We used trains to travel from the nearby Dingle Road station into Cardiff Central, two stops away, and back late at night via Cogan station , 18 minutes walk back. The property was clean, comfortable , modern, and in great order. The host was helpful and informative. We followed her advice on favourite locations and had great pizza while looking out over the bay.

Negative: As we were three unrelated male friends, a catch on the bathroom/ toilet would have been a nice addition but we were old and ugly enough to manage without. Just a thought.

Positive: Not far from centre shops and train stations and Penarth pier in waking distance. Plenty of parking close by. Sainsburys and a co-op a short walk as were plentiful places to eat. Small private garden out the back ideal for sitting in sun.

Negative: Nothing to do with the house really which was lovely-but a word of caution as the flagstones on a lot of the streets in Penarth seem to be very uneven which resulted in one of our party tripping badly. So I would say just be aware when walking anywhere.

Summary: All in all We had an enjoyable stay.

Positive: Well stocked kitchen and kids loved exploring the toys. Living room comfortable.

Negative: No dedicated parking - a couple of times had to carry a lot of bags a little distant. Bath was style over substance as could not get it hot enough for an adult though worked for the kids. Overall a little scruffy but worked for us.
