Positive: We had a lovely greeting when we arrived, followed by a tour of the building. The kitchen had all the facilities we needed for catering, there was a lot of care taken with the décor, and an incredibly comfortable bed. The patio was perfect for chilling out and enjoying the views of the countryside. If you're visiting the National Botanic Garden of Wales, then this is just a short drive away.
Negative: I wish their advert had conveyed how relaxing we would find our stay, as I would probably have booked an extra night. The building is much bigger and welcoming than you feel from the blurb. There was nowhere obviously nearby for popping to the shops, so make sure you bring your supplies, but the kitchen has full range of oven/microwave/etc so you'll be fine to prepare your own meal to have at the large dining table.
Summary: Lovely welcome, wonderful stay - perfect for self catering.
