Positive: Location was perfect. Easy 25min drive into Queenstown, 15min to Frankton or 15min walk to water taxi dock. Walking tracks had easy access with the golf club cafe perfect for a coffee. Showers were great. Good water pressure and although there was a note warning about hot water use due to it being a storage tank situation our group of 7 adults had no issues at all.
Negative: Accommodation itself was dirty, right from point of entry, there was dirt in the doorway as we walked in. Kitchen sink had to be cleaned before use as I don't know what was all over it. Pantry had numerous open un-sealed and partly used food items in it with crumbs throughout. Oven and oven pans were grotty and greasy and needed to be cleaned before use. The same with the first few plates, glasses, mugs and cutlery we went to use so we just washed it all. Dog fur everywhere, stained and dirty lounge. No Toiletries supplied as stated in listing, or extra towels for swimming use. One pillow per sleeping spot with most being quite thin, so the broad shouldered men had to fold them in half. We did come across at least 1 other pillow in one of the cupboards but with no pillow protector or pillow case on it we were not going to use it. Really I could go on. It's actually really sad because for such a stunning location and great configuration it could be amazing. Someone just needs to go through and actually "clean" the place and remove all the random paperwork that is not relevant to the property.
Summary: Great location but I really don't enjoy paying to live for 9 days in a dirty property.

Positive: Amazing Views, lots of beds and space. Private yard which goes down through an amazing garden to the Lake track. 10min walk to water taxi stop for heading into Queenstown. 1 min walk to the golf course.
Negative: 1. The provided towels, whilst perhaps washed were stained and hadn’t looked liked they had been changed in years. Wish we’d brought our own. Requested new towels and were then given a multi coloured and sIzed collection your grandma would pull out of her moth ridden linen closet - not really acceptable for AirBnB. 2. Shocked to find a sign in the bathroom that there is a limit of 300Litre of hot water (about 20 minutes) that needs 12-24hrs to reheat. This needs to be advertised- would not have booked knowing we had to ration hot water in the middle of winter. 3. Generally the furniture and appliances are pretty rank with cleanliness clearly not a priority- sad for such an otherwise lovely building and surrounds.
Summary: Why be stingy on the furniture cleanliness/linen/towels/?
