Positive: The location was just lovely. Beautiful spot and a short walk to train and bus stations. Little village just a few steps away with lovely little restaurants. The staff were lovely and Andrea was so helpful in accomodating our late check in due to train delays and suggesting great places to go and see. She suggested a stop at a beautiful lake which had been the favourite of our travels. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight. Sitting out in the garden courtyard with a lovely breakfast was a great way to start the day. Room was large and spacious and comfortable.
Negative: That I had to leave!

Positive: The pension is well located and very spacious common areas. It was an hidden gem that we found in Salzburg. Friendly hosts and amazing breakfast, nice outdoor swimming pool to use during summer. The whole stay was great.
Negative: It could have a shared kitchen or cooking facilities for families with babies.

Positive: Excellent location, close to town centre & main bus stop. Clean, comfortable bed & even has a sauna! Fantastic breakfast. Nice homey family feel.

Negative: Coffee would have been nice in the rooms. Tea was available but didn’t see coffee.

Positive: We stayed at Frühstückspension Helmhof for 2 nights and everything was great. The breakfast was excellent, and every morning they served fresh eggs from their own chickens and homemade jam, which was a really nice touch. There’s a playground for children right behind the pension, which was perfect for us. The location is also very convenient – close to the center of Salzburg, but still very quiet and peaceful. You can take the bus to Salzburg for free. Overall, a very comfortable and relaxing stay, we would definitely recommend it and hope one day we will be back!
