Summary: We stayed at Perched in the Trees to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect! Such a lovely retreat that feels so far away and secluded, but is close to great food and attractions. We were especially impressed with our takeout dinner (the crab cakes were delicious!) from Jimmy Joy’s, which we enjoyed eating on the screened porch. A cardinal’s nest right outside the screened porch was an unexpected delight! Sunset was beautiful over the valley! The cabin itself was thoughtfully appointed, clean, and perfect for our one night away. One heads up that there are motion lights outside. We didn’t notice these during the day (because they’re also seemingly dusk-to-dawn only) and when they lit up after we were in bed (probably from an animal), it was a little alarming.

Summary: I really enjoyed staying at the Owl Getaway and didn't want to leave when my time was up. It was a perfect little place to get away: Secluded and quiet (except for being able to hear traffic on the road above - though it doesn't get a lot of traffic). The screened-in porch among the trees is great! The listing is literal when it says "shower only" for the bathroom: It not only means no tub, but that the sink is in the kitchen. I'll also say that I did drink the tap water, too, in case anyone is wondering if it's safe to drink.

Summary: My husband and I stayed in this charming little cabin for the weekend. It is perfect for just 2 people. The cabin only has one sink (the kitchen sink) and the refrigerator is small but that was ok since it was just the two of us. The cabin is in a private setting, and we truly felt secluded from the rest of the world. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to nature. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: My daughter and I stayed here this past weekend. She turned 18 earlier in the month and just committed to a college finally so it was just a little getaway for us but the property is exactly as pictured. Totally adorable!!!! Everything is so clean, quiet and relaxing. No complaints from us whatsoever. We plan on returning for sure!

Summary: The driveway is extremely dangerous and I messed up my rental van really bad trying to turn around in the driveway. The cabin is really nice and in a great location. I grew up in Warfordsburg, but live in Florida. I went to visit my mom and needed a break from the city. This was perfect. There is a cardinal nest right in front of the porch and I watched them and the sunrise/sunset from the porch. It was perfect.
