Enjoy the best that Montauk has to offer! Our newly renovated, sun drenched house with ocean views is the perfect place for a fun-filled family getaway.
Sweeping ocean views abound --- you can see the water from almost every room in the house. A large gourmet kitchen, gas grill and large outdoor eating area help to make meals affairs to remember. A large glassed living room opens up to the expansive yard, merging outdoor and indoor living. The living room also has a fireplace to help take the nip out of chilly mornings, blustery evenings or romantic ambiance. Rather sit outside? Light the fire pit instead ( and don't forget the s'mores!). Take a dip in the heated pool or rinse off in the outdoor shower after a quick trip to the beach. Most beaches in the area require special permits or are public beaches which can be quite crowded. Luckily, our home has a coveted Hither Hills beach parking pass, which allows you to park at one of several private parking lots along Old Montauk Highway and avoid the crowds and the parking tickets. We are also walking distance to The Beach Club at Gurney's where you can rent a chair for the day and sip drinks and nibble on snacks oceanfront. If needed, there is even an electric car charging port (220 v) in the garage.
The house is perfectly suited for families. For those traveling with wee ones, there is a full crib, changing table, and high chair. For outside fun, there is a large, expansive lawn, perfect for a game of croquet, bocce, corn hole or ladder ball (all available on site). The pool is surrounded by a safety fence. The TV room also contains games and puzzles for all ages, as well as some toys and art supplies for younger children. Rainy days fly by after watching a movie and playing football.

...hungry! Don't feel like cooking? No problem. The restaurant scene in Montauk is alive and growing with one of the newest hot spots within walking distance. More and more places are staying open through out the year.

As for Montauk, there are too many reasons to list that make this hamlet at the eastern tip of Long Island so special. There are the pristine beaches, a historic lighthouse, the seafood caught by the local fishermen and the wonderful restaurants, new and old. In terms of activities, there is little that you can't do here: surfing, swimming, sailing, golfing (mini and regular), tennis, hiking, biking paths, etc.

Summary: Spectacular home accompanied by spectacular views ... and a gracious host! No detail was overlooked in furnishing the house, which balances comfort with luxury. Five en-suite bedrooms with exquisite linens. Basement game room with toys for kids of all ages. Incredibly well-equipped kitchen (it even has an espresso maker!). Gorgeous ocean-view terrace with an awning for sunny mornings. And all within easy driving distance of Amagansett, East Hampton, and Montauk. We hated to leave, but look forward to coming back again if PJ and her family will have us!

Summary: There are really no words to describe the degree to which this rental exceeded our high expectations. First off, the owner/manager is the most accommodating and most communicative of any house we have rented in the past 10-yrs. the house itself is significantly nicer than it shows in photos. Views of the not so distant ocean across the street and over the tree line are nothing short of spectacular from the house and yard. The house was beyond immaculate and we are clean freaks. Everything you could imagine wanting from kitchenware to kids toys and sporting goods (age 2-18) is stocked throughout the house, garage, and yard. Very little of this is shown in the property description. You can easily walk across the street (2min away) to one of the best beaches in the Hamptons at Gurneys. The house is equally perfect for multiple couples or families with kids. Our kids are begging us to re-rent the house next year which we 100% will if back in Montauk. 5-stars not enough to show our appreciation for the rental.

Summary: My family of five recently rented this home in Montauk, NY. The home is beautifully decorated and well appointed with all of the amenities you would like to feel at home. We absolutely loved the layout of the house. There was plenty of room for my three young children, my parents and our siblings. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and each has its own ensuite bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms have views of the ocean. The backyard is absolutely amazing. The view of the ocean is beautiful. The pool is in close proximity to the house and patio. The grassy lawn is the ideal set up for all of the sports and games our children wanted to play - soccer, wiffle ball, races, etc. There is also a swing set for the kids to play on in the front of the house. The private beach pass that is included with the rental was a highlight of our trip. The beach was so quiet and only had a handful of other families. The outdoor shower in the backyard made it very convenient to bathe the kids after the beach. We would definitely rent this house again and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to recharge and relax in a beautiful setting.

Summary: We had a family reunion with elderly grandparents and teens. There was space for everyone and great facilities. The grounds and pool are lovely and the location and ocean views spectacular. The house Is in agreat location for both going to town and for privacy. The appointments and decor are all top notch. The solar element was also very appealing re being environmentally friendly which seemed so in keeping with the locale. The house was very complete in all respects. It was definitely a place we would go back to for sure.
