Alligator and Mermaid. Our home is located in the gated Dorros Cove Subdivision on Elbow Cay, Bahamas. It is steps away from the fantastic Tahiti Beach. It is a short golf cart ride from the charming town of Hopetown. Our home is perched right on the water and offers fantastic views of the ocean. Our infinity pool is delightful to enjoy! We have completely remodeled after hurricane Dorian. Come spend your vacation with us!
Inside we have a selection of games, puzzles and videos. Fully stocked kitchen with dishes and kitchen appliances.
We have a full house generator and water maker. You will have access to washer and dryer. The pool is heated We also have dock space available in dorros cove.

Summary: A lot of planning is in this house. Decks on all sides and second floor With lots of chairs and lounges and shade. Indoor and outdoor seating. Amazing pool overlooking the surf. We have rented a lot of houses in the Abacos and this is the best. Owner and caretaker are quick to respond and fixed a minor problem in hours not days.

Summary: We just had my third stay at the Alligator and Mermaid, and let me tell, it was just as impressive as the first time! The caretakers are top-notch and always there to make sure our stay was perfect. The house itself is absolutely stunning - from the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. The deck is massive and perfect for entertaining or just lounging around or night. We are already counting down the days until we can come back next year and stay in this incredible home again. Thank you so much for having us back for a third year - it was truly great spending time at the house and with my kids for the third year in a row.

Summary: Our first trip back since Dorian and Alligator and the mermaid was perfect for our family and a couple friends. The house is exactly as advertised and Donnie and Trish do an excellent job of helping if you need anything. The breeze coming off the ocean is perfect for morning and evenings. We all enjoyed the pool after a long day on the boat. Parking in doros cove near Tahiti beach is awesome. We will be back! Thanks for having us.

Summary: Everything about this house was perfect - view, amenities, location. As mentioned before, pictures do not do this house justice! The living room offers complete views of the ocean from three sides. The pool practically flows into the water. Every room had a large bathroom. The open living room and kitchen were the perfect common areas for our family to come together to cook and enjoy time together. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was so lovely and provided an amazing story of the island rebuilding through Dorian. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Summary: This is our second year of coming since Dorian and we were so impressed with once again the amount of work and progress that has been made on the island. The locals have worked so hard and it shows. We enjoyed the house and love being close to Dorros Cove. The house worked well layout is great for a family. The decks and pool are such a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and read as well as an afternoon dip when we return for boating. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking which we enjoyed several nights.

Summary: This is our 2nd year in a row staying at Alligator and Mermaid. The property was spotless and had every amenity we would need. The house is fully equipped and left us wanting for nothing more. The view up on the bluff of the ocean is spectacular and it si 5 mins from Tahati beach which is perfect for small children.

Summary: This was our second stay at the Alligator and Mermaid and have to say it’s just as impressive the second time around. The caretakers are first class and always there for you and your guest. The house is nothing short of spectacular from the time you open the front door and set up for entertaining and relaxing with a huge deck that can be enjoyed day and night. We will be back again next year and can’t wait to stay in the home again. Thank you for having us a second year.
