I Absolutely love this newly remodeled, beautifully decorated, private and spacious rental property.
This rental is within walking distance to Sudden Valley's largest beaches, picnic areas, kayaks, paddle boards, parks, marina and off leash dog park.
When staying inside the Sudden Valley community, it's like living on a private resort. The amenities include a fitness center, two pools, four tennis courts, pickle ball court, basketball court, soccer field, soccer golf and one of the most scenic, award-winning golf courses in the state of Washington.
This rental space has two large master suites with walk-in closets and one extremely large bathroom with two sinks, a deep soaking tub and shower.
Both bedrooms have been remodeled and are beautifully decorated with walk-in closets and dresser drawers.
The bathroom area is very spacious with bright daylight lighting and features a vanity mirror and chair.
The living and dining area have a modern flare featuring a cozy fireplace, large flat screen television and couch that pulls out into a sleeper sofa for extra guests.
The rental space has the perfect size kitchen with everything you need for cooking during your stay featuring a large oven with stove top, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender and full-size refrigerator.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here with our dog. Walked easily to the dog park every morning for our dog to play ball - he loved being able to get into Lake Whatcom to cool off between throws. The property is a very nice downstairs “apartment” of a two-story house. It was very clean and comfortable, including the beds, which is such a plus! The property manager was very friendly and helpful. Sudden Valley was fun to explore as we walked around, and it is pretty convenient to Bellingham itself. There were a couple of minor issues. There was a noticeable perfume-like scent, likely from cleaning products or perhaps even a scent diffusor? I didn’t get a headache or anything, but I could still smell the same scent for 2-3 days on clothing that we brought home. And in the bigger bedroom in the rear, I woke up every morning a little after 4 AM to the sounds of one or both of the resident upstairs dogs, nails clicking while walking around and then a “crash” when a dog laid down hard on the floor. Two even more minor issues: no paper towels were provided, and no large pot in the kitchen! But once again, I would emphasize that we had a lovely time at this property and would recommend it to others.

Summary: It was a perfect place to come home to after a long day in Burlington for my son’s soccer tournament. The place was spacious and clean. I let the girls have the king size room so they could have more space. Met the owners who were very generous and offered up anything we needed. I feel the place needs to be stocked more with Salt and pepper, hand soap and ice. (inside joke). The beds were comfortable with lots of blankets to use towels and blankets. The kids appreciated the swimming lake and the pool. We liked the access to the paddle boards and a tennis rackets the only improvement I would like to see is a better patio with more sitting or table to hang out outside. We love the neighborhood and hope to come back soon. Thank you!!

Summary: Our family of 4 was very comfortable at this property. The beds were very comfortable with soft linens and the bathroom and kitchen were well appointed with everything we needed. We eventually located the two kayaks and paddle board and after Nicole helped secure life vests, we’re able to enjoy an evening paddle in the lake. The apartment was quiet and sunny. Each day that we left the door open we received a room by room inspection by an area resident cat! He came in, walked each room and talked about it, got a few scratches and then walked out. ☺️ Saw several deer and one with fawns as well. We would come back here again. Thanks Nicole!

Summary: We had a wonderful weekend away with our kids and dog. The location of the property is perfect- easy walking distance to the lake and dog park. You can even see the lake through the trees of the downstairs window (where the rental is located)! It was quiet and relaxed- we swam in the community pool 3 days in a row. The owners were home and so friendly- they even made us cookies!! (Yum!) the rental was beautiful and bedrooms/bathroom were huge. we had a great time and would definitely stay again.
