Negative: Decor tired & dated. Bed was comfortable, but creaked every time you moved. Fridge was noisy. Towels thin and scratchy. Could do with a renovation. The dogs locked away in a large shed barked continuously

Positive: Accomodation: The mountain and forest views were the highlight of our stay. There was plenty of bird and wild life around which was beautiful. The property has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property hosts are very nice and quick to respond to any issue including safeguarding and handing over a valuable item I had accidental left behind. What's nearby? The nearest shops were Chirnside shopping centre which had a ALDI. Jumping Creek Reserve is a 2 minute drive from the property and has some nice walking trails.
Negative: The top floor got very hot during the warmer days and the aircon wasn't that effective. The property wasn't particular sound proof as the holiday home is a sectioned part of the larger residence but other than that it was a lovely home away from home and we had a wonderful break.

Positive: No condiments supplied. Bath linen poor (small thin towels), lack of extra pillows. Shower alcove tiny. Impossible to find entry door (keys) without contacting host. Interior comfortable and clean but outside area unkempt.
Negative: Lack of proper entry instructions. Large shower head in a small shower alcove. Footsteps/noise from hosts residing on floor above. Untidy surrounds.
Summary: Facilities inside were clean and comfortable in general, but detracted by poor presentation.

Positive: The property itself was very clean and ideal for an overnight stay. We were at a wedding at Potters reception so location was great.
Negative: We didn’t realise it was part of a big house with someone living in it. We may have missed that fact. It had its own entrance but there was a locked door to the main house upstairs.
