Summary: Had a great time at the property. Plenty of room. Great recreation opportunities - Golfing and hiking. Chester is a fun little town. Not all the crowds you get in many other areas

Summary: This house was perfect for our family of 10, which included grandparents, parents, preteens and a dog! Wonderful location with complimentary access to beach and boat launch. Close to golf course too! Loved spending time on the deck in the mornings and evenings. Host was also very responsive and took care of needs that arose very promptly. Highly recommend!

Summary: The house design was great. We had the misfortune of being there during a heat wave so the lack of AC was keenly felt. A few fans throughout the house would have helped a lot. There was an issue with towels and the fridge struggled to keep cool when we transferred stuff from coolers to fridge (they were cool, shouldn't have been an issue). Overall, great location, accommodating host. Would rent again!

Summary: The place is great, has everything you need, and a short drive to the lake. A previous guest broke the sofa bed and evolve let us know less than 24 hrs before which was disappointing since a guest was staying there. Also turned out Lassen was closed so be sure to double check that.

Summary: Quiet and clean. Amenities could have been stocked better. No coffee filters , sponge at kitchen sink and bathroom supplies were sparse. Hot water ran out too early ? Was staying up here for work , didn’t have time to go and get essentials that should have been offered. Other than that it was a nice place to sleep / shower. Loft over garage was really nice for over flow guests , maybe next time .

Summary: Easy drive to beach and to Chester. Easy check-in. Very clean and everything we needed in the kitchen was there. Separate room over garage w/bath was nice for a quiet retreat. Futon in that room, however, could use an update. Metal frame combined with a thin futon was really uncomfortable. We ended up putting futon mattress on the floor. The beds in the main house were fine~~ 3 bathrooms were great for a large group. And our dog was very relaxed there. We appreciated that our pet could join us.
