3 Bedroom Cottage in Surfside

Paws Beachside is a well appointed and light filled, single level 3 bedroom cottage featuring a new kitchen and open plan living area with beautiful spotted gum solid timber floors. The living area opens to a large deck overlooking a fully fenced private backyard and tidal creek. The lounge area features comfortable leather lounges and a large screen smart TV and DVD player. A good range of family friendly DVDs and board games are provided.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people. There are 2 queen sized beds, and a double bed. The house works exceptionally for friends spending time together, on a special occasion or adventure, and for families.
It is a short walk to the dog friendly beach which has lovely grassed parkland next to it with shaded benches and tables - ideal for enjoying fish and chips from the nearby local as you look across the water to Bateman’s Bay. The main beach at Surfside is not dog accessible as it adjoins the Cullendulla Creek Nature Reserve.
Other features of the property include an outdoor hot and cold shower, single garage and a car port high enough to house a decent sized boat or a trailer that brought your mountain bikes down!
The location is ideal for many. Kayaks can easily be launched from the local beach for adventures in the bay, out to nearby islands or up the magnificent Clyde River. The external shower and locked garage mean you can enjoy Eurobodalla's mountain bike trails, wash you and your gear off and then enjoy the back deck and a well earned drink.
Nature lovers can enjoy walking and picnics in the Cullendulla Creek Nature Reserve with scenic views out to Snapper Island and the Tollgates. The Reserve is within easy walking distance from the house.
It is also easy to enjoy all that Bateman’s Bay has to offer. You can walk along the river and over the Clyde River bridge or drive to the town centre in minutes to enjoy local shopping, many cafes and restaurants, take in a movie or enjoy the new aquatic centre. The IGA at Surfside offers you provisions and a very good burger!
Bed linen, bathroom towels and bath mats, and tea towels are provided at a cost of $85 per rental.
A double kayak with 2 life jackets and paddles can be rented with prior arrangement for $100 per rental. Paddle at your own risk. The beach and river are tidal and care must be taken to understand the tides.

Summary: Hubby and I were so impressed! Very clean; welcoming and relaxed atmosphere; fully equipped kitchen with a whiz bang coffee machine; comfy beds and wonderful electric blanket; plenty of space for the two little dogs; reverse cycle aircon heated the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining exceptionally well; beautiful and interesting artworks throughout; back deck was amazing to sit on an and ponder anything and nothing; yard and gardens were immaculate with beautiful plants, flowers and edibles; very short stroll to the dog beach; found the IGA and bottle shop just up a couple of streets!; only a few minutes drive to Batemans Bay. We didn't want to come home after our 4 night stay! Plan on staying again. Thanks to Ruth and Claire for being fabulous hosts. Hubby loved the Tim Tams!!

Summary: Wonderfully appointed accommodation in a quiet location. Ruth and Claire have ensured that Paws has a lovely, homely feel, including quality appliances, (bonus coffee maker) comfy recliners and electric blankets. Fully fenced backyard was perfect for our Jack Russell and the hard to please younger audience were most impressed, but this might have to do with the lovely surprise arrival treats. Definitely can see why Paws has 5-star reviews. We hope to come back!!

Summary: Great stay! We were in search of a 3-bedroom residence that could accommodate the storage of a 20ft boat with ease, while also being conveniently situated near the town centre. The property had level access for parking and featured a high shed which was great for providing a little more security. The house offered ample amenities, and the open-plan layout with veranda looking out the creek added a nice little touch. Thanks to the owners for making the stay so easy, and looking forward to visiting again soon.

Summary: This property was perfect for our few days away. I can't rave about it enough. The position, atmosphere, amenities, everything. The dog-friendly beach is literally at the end of the street and it's beautiful. My dog and I swam together and made lots of friends. The house is lovely with everything you need. The deck is a great spot for morning coffee or evening drink watching the birds. Perfect backyard as I was worried about securing my dog if we left him at all and I didn't have to worry. We're looking forward to visiting again.
