Summary: We had a great stay. John was available for anything we needed. The location was perfect and the property was accurate in description. Would recommend this place. Also lots of water toys available and John invited us on his pontoon boat.

Summary: We loved our stay at this rental. John and Charlotte live on the property and give you a great experience! Allowing use of all their water toys and space on the lot for outdoor grilling, campfire and other fun! It was especially perfect for our stay as it is dog friendly & we had to travel with our 2 pups! We will be going back for sure!

Summary: Beautiful lake property with plenty of boats to use. Small house attached to owners that were present during the stay. Very clean Warm upstairs for sleeping. Could use ceiling fans.

Summary: We had a wonderful week here. Spent most days at the lake with the kayaks, paddleboats, and canoes or just floating on a mattress. The lake was beautiful (make sure you get up early to watch the sunrise over the lake). The hosts were super. Anytime we needed something, they were there immediately. There are a couple grills outside next to the netted canopies. A wonderful firepit for s’mores and singing. Also, there are a couple great places to explore nearby (I suggest the Quincy Bog Natural Area). The lodging was smaller than it appeared in the photographs. Although there are beds for seven people, the space is too small for that many. The kitchen had a random assortment of things but missing some essentials (like a cutting board and a working can opener). I wish we had brought things like storage containers, foil, plastic wrap, plastic bags but we made do. There are few places to hang towels inside (only two hooks on a door). All in all, however, it was a restful week. If you need a place to get away from quarantine and isolation, spend a week by the lake. Suggest you bring a fan for the summer. (FYI. The hosts are vocally non-mask wearers.)

Summary: You will not find a better place if you are interested in lake access. They have every toy you could ever want for the lake. The property is 20-25 minutes from most restaurants/stores. The area we stayed in is small and the upstairs is SUPER hot at night so definitely bring fans!!!

Summary: The place was clean but very minimally appointed. Only one room had a dresser to put clothing in, none had any place to hang towels. The whole place had only a few places to dry towels. No games, puzzles or books. No cutting board in kitchen. Had to ask for fans for rooms. The main thing to stress is that you are sharing a house with the owner and sharing all amenities with the owner and two other rental units, all on one lot. The online description mentions shared use but it doesn't convey well that you will have no privacy outside or at the water. There were always other guests or the owners around. Also, while there were some chairs, tables and grills none are specific to the rental, they are just. up. for grabs. The waterfront is nice but very small and across a road, with neighbors 30 feet away each side. Considering the lack of privacy and sharing. of all amenities I think it is over priced for what it is. Lastly, the owners had political signs in their windows. I feel it is impolite and not being very good host to broadcast ones political views to your guests, keep them to yourself.

Summary: Three of my lady friends and I, 40-47yrs, rented this property to get away for the weekend. The lake is absolutely stunning, and the use of the boats was a very nice amenity. The owners were very kind, and hospitable. The yard was not aesthetically pleasing, but the owners did say they bought it 2-3? years ago, and are still working to fix up the property. The beds were stiff, and not comfortable, and one of the bedroom rugs reeked of urine.
