Summary: Comfortable, convenient & excellent boutique hotel choice in Ormaiztegui half way in the Basque Country between Bilbao and San Sebastian by car or else. Their very friendly manager & owner welcome, as well as attention to detail and a tasty breakfast including local traditional cakes he bakes himself, and more simple amenities are there to enjoy by guests.

Summary: Petit Hotel Goierri was a perfect choice for us. As we had a car, we were looking for a place that could be our base from which we could do the day-trips and explore the region (cities like Bilbao, San Sebastian, Pamplona, Hondarribia, Biarritz). The hosts recommended us a very nice beach in Zarautz, which is about 35-minute drive and which we visited a few times. They also recommended an interesting hiking route nearby, but unfortunately we did not have time for it. Each morning a freshly-squeezed orange juice was waiting for us as a part of tasty breakfast. The hosts were very friendly, providing great service and hospitality.
