Positive: Lovely family owned accommodation in a nice quiet part of town with good restaurants nearby. You can rent a motorbike from them. Breakfast was a bonus. Nice big rooms with balcony and garden to sit in.

Negative: Rooms were quite noisy depending on your fellow guests! Plus the squirrels on the roof!

Positive: Lovely and larger place, very clean, fridge in next room so could sleep better, hot showers, place to eat take-away and buy a beer from reception. Great value for money and set in a lovely Thai town away from the tourist areas. Staff let a scooter so we could explore the area, called tuk tuks for us. They were friendly and very accommodating.

Negative: nothing

Summary: Wonderful place to experience real Thai culture and peace.

Positive: We loved being a little off the beaten track. There's plenty to keep you occupied even within walking distance but this is seriously a great place to stay and explore the Phang Nga area. The room was more like a basic little apartment and more than met our needs. Staff were super friendly and the language barrier is easy to overcome nowadays.

Negative: I know that breakfast isn't technically included, but if you are going to put food out, please try to notice when it is about to run out.

Summary: Excellent option for that off-the-beaten-track type of stay

Positive: The room was spacious, clean and well air conditioned. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is worth renting a scooter when you get there as it is a little out of the way - the staff can help you organise this. It is very good value for money and the town is a real insight into authentic thailand.
