Summary: My family found a gem in Ferndale. This house is charming and spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The views from the master bedroom and deck were breathtaking. We loved sitting on the deck in the early morning to watch the birds or look at the beautiful Kennebec. The owners are very welcoming and we’re available for our questions. The location is ideal for easy access to Bath, and close proximity to Popham Beach, Fort Popham, and Bates-Morse Mountain to name a few of our favorite sites. We highly recommend and hope to return to Ferndale.

Summary: Our family really enjoyed our stay - the beautiful view of the river, proximity to beaches and town of Bath all contributed to a nice experience. The house was comfortable and thoughtfully furnished for guests.

Summary: This was our first time in Maine and this was the perfect house to enjoy the comforts of home while on vacation — a real relaxing vibe. Beautiful house , well stocked for all your needs! Huge bay windows to look out onto the river and take in all the wildlife! We did a lot of bird watching with the binoculars hanging up in the kitchen. Loved the screened porch and all the comfortable seating. The beds were comfy as well as the pillows. Lots of games, puzzles, and books. The first thing everyone did upon rising was bird watch! Close to so many fun things to do, too! We recommend Ferndale!!

Summary: We attended a wedding at the 1774 Inn. The house was the perfect location. It was a beautiful spot on the river. Lovely screened in deck. Well stocked home with everything you could need.
