We have wild turkeys, song birds, rabbits, deer and yes, bears have been spotted on the property! Just remember, they are more afraid of you than you of them!

Summary: Coming from the busy city life this house offered us the perfect place to relax, listen to the birds, and watch the stars. We were able to visit Letchworth State Park (40 minutes), Town of Cuba (15 minutes), Buffalo (1 hour and a half), and Niagara Falls (2 hours). The house had everything we needed and it was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and we certainly will go back if we are traveling in that area.

Summary: The property was a good fit for our active family. The yard was massive with plenty of yard to play in and woods to explore. The view was spectacular. We had miss read the property posting and brought along our four legged friend as other travelers had stated in their reviews of the property that dogs were welcome. The property owner let us know that dogs are not normally welcome and made an exception. It should be noted that the property has multiple cameras and the property owner frequently looks in on the property. We had a situation that was a little off putting when the property owner used the voice capability on the camera to speak to our minor children. We really enjoyed our stay at Pikes other than the incident with the camera.

Summary: Nice place. Fit our family of six very well. It's well stocked with games, blue tooth speaker for music and smart TV. Firepit was nice, and there was wood already piled by the pit. Very nice experience. Thank you for sharing!

Summary: My husband, 2 teen daughters, chihuahua mix, and I stayed quite comfortably for 3 nights in this spacious, quiet, home. The wifi & smart TV made the kids happy while my husband and I enjoyed the fresh air, ample wildlife sightings, amazing views, and the unbelievable night sky. The rental was very comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed except groceries. It was well appointed with tons of clean linens, plenty of kitchenwares, basic toiletries, and many other necessities. We were pleasantly surprised that many of the items were the same brands we'd use at home. Also, the host was very responsive. The local eateries were surprisingly close despite the secluded feel of the house. Mike's on the Corner was the best homemade food we had in the area. I'd skip the hardware store cafe though. In addition to restaurants, we visited some local honey producers right down the road and a drive-in movie theatre about 25 minutes away. The only real issue we experienced was an odor in the master bedroom/bathroom. That being said, we would not hesitate to stay again! We loved Pike's Peak!
