Positive: Amazing host, great facilities (some of the best beds we stayed in Japan), the onsen was perfect after a day skiing. We will absolutely be back!

Positive: Myself and 14 friends booked the whole lodge for 7 nights and we enjoyed every one. The location is 50m from the closest free shuttle bus and a within walking distance of Echoland and the nearest big supermarket.
Negative: The showers were kept extremely clean but there weren't too many of them which lead to some wait times and the kitchen was a little bare. Overall it was fantastic stay though.
Summary: Our group of 15 loved our stay at the lodge and would recommend it

Positive: I highly recommend this place if you're going to ski on a pretty low budget !!!!!! The Pilot Lodge is a comfy place, located at 10 meters from a bus stop that can bring you for free to several ski slopes in 10min, the staff is really accommodating, there is two bathes that you can use on your own and the hostel provides reductions for the ski passes and for a gear rental shop that can pick you up and bring you with your gear ! Thank you so much for everything :)

Positive: Our host was very helpful and was kind enough to drive the three of us to the bus station on our day of departure. Breakfast was good and inexpensive. The lodge is very close to the ski shuttle stop which is a huge bonus.

Positive: Great communication. Pick up from train station and introduction was great. Jung and staff were incredibly polite and helpful, assisting us with gear hire and some discounted resort passes and lots of information. Room was clean and sizeable. Would definitely recommend.
Negative: Showers two levels down from rooms were the only thing that wasn't great. Very small inconvenience in an otherwise incredibly satisfying experience.
