Positive: The facilities was very clean. We enjoyed the swimming pool the most. The lady at reception of leisure centre was amazing. Gave our kids pool toys and was very accomadating

Positive: Spacious quiet studio, close to lake. Food and bar if you want that, plenty of space to walk about the lake and get a coffee. Leisure facilities (need to book) within walk of accommodation. Bath and shower in studio. Good heating/air con system.

Negative: Paying £2 to hire a towel when I left a clean one in my room !

Positive: well laid out lodge, good beds, living space. kitchen had all required, ate out mostly. restaurant onsite good food, a little expensive but remote so understandable.

Negative: few cobwebs as wooden roof internally, hoover on site helped. wardrobe doors broken in main bedroom but not really used so no big issue, just some maintenance needed seen a few ants in bathroom, maybe some moisture from garden/lodge construction

Summary: Great location to explore Kendal, Blackpool and Windemere. lodge comfy
