Beautiful pine floors and accents welcome you into our cozy cabin. Our open floor plan allows you to enjoy a wood burning fireplace from anywhere on the main level along with easy access to the wrap around deck; perfect for stargazing, looking for wildlife or just enjoying morning coffee.
A highlight of the cabin is a spacious pavilion on the lower level. This covered area is perfect for grilling and dining, relaxing in the hammock, reading a book or playing games.
A private master bedroom sits on the upper level with a king sized bed, full bathroom, smart TV and private balcony.
The lower level consists of a common area to relax and watch TV, a pullout queen sized sofa, full bathroom, washer/dryer and separate bedroom with two twin sized beds. A covered porch and access to the pavilion can also be granted from this level.
Deer Knoll cabin sits within a gated community, complete with a number of ponds; perfect for fishing, areas to hike and explore and 5 minutes from kayak/tube rentals. The cabin is easy driving distance to West Jefferson, Mt. Jefferson, New River state park, Grayson Highlands and the Creeper Trail.

Summary: Had major storm during stay which is unusual for Western North Carolina. Owner answered text and phone and was very helpful. Since we lost power, recommend having a lantern or flashlight in cabin.

Summary: Definitely a little piece of heaven. Our host was more than helpful and her promt responses to all of our questions is greatly appreciated. The house was just perfect, small but spacious. It has beautiful views and is very clean. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Excellent time, we loved the cabin! Very organized and clean. Easy to access and communication with Debra and Allison was excellent always , I really appreciate this since we had bad weather and they did everything possible to explain all I needed to know to be prepared. The kids really enjoyed going walking to Red Dog restaurant !!! ( amazing food ) We had an excellent stay and we are looking forward to be back soon. ❤️

Summary: We so enjoyed our stay at the Deer Knoll Cabin! Between the cozy interior decor and the exterior view and gazebo, it created an unforgettable mountainous atmosphere during our stay. The cabin was so clean and had all the necessary amenities needed to make our stay perfect. We will definitely return to Piney Creek and stay at the Pine Knoll Cabin..
