Welcome to “A Wave From it All”, our 4 year old 2000 square foot beach house with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, located in the desirable Pirates Beach community. Our home is located in a family neighborhood meant for 6 adults and 6 kids. This is NOT a party house. Relax and enjoy views of the beach from the spacious open concept main living area or unwind on the deck on the outdoor sectional. Better yet, take the easy 5 minute walk to the sandy shores where you can play in the waves, build sandcastles and create lasting family memories! There is a warm outdoor shower waiting for you when you return.
The fully equipped kitchen includes anything you would need for your culinary needs. To get you started the first morning, a Keurig coffeemaker with Starbucks k-pods and an electric tea kettle with Tazo tea supplies are provided. Cabinets are filled with enough glasses, dishes, silverware and cooking supplies for a large group. Paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher pods, hand soap, laundry pods, tp and fabric sheets are provided for your convenience. New in 2022 - we have a high chair.
On the first floor, we have the Texan room (master) which now in 2022 has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and double vanity. Upstairs, we have the Mermaid room which offers ocean views and two twin XL beds. Next to it is the Pineapple room which boasts sunrise/sunset views on the private deck and a queen bed. Across the hall, the Tortuga room is furnished with two sets of comfy twin-over-full bunk beds. Guests upstairs will enjoy the entertainment area with HD television and a full bathroom.
There is a public pool for your use at Jamaica Beach and family-friendly attractions such as Pleasure Pier, Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens are only 10-15 minutes away with a short drive into town. Book today!
* Please note that there is one active security camera on the front porch facing the entrance. Sorry, but we will cancel reservations if we have 12 adults show up to party and we do not accept pets, friends visiting with pets, smoking or motor homes.

Summary: This is a beautiful house - so close to the beach - and so comfortable. The kids' bunk room was really perfect for our crew. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could want. The living area was very comfortable and roomy. And all the bedrooms were even prettier than in in the listing. Thank you very much - we will be back.

Summary: We had a lovely visit to Galveston Island, made even better by staying at this beautiful property. The Beach house was exactly as portrayed on the website. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked with towels, paper products, and kitchen tools. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the property.

Summary: This house was great for a quick getaway to Pirate's Beach. The house was extremely clean and perfect for families with young kids. Although at the back of the neighborhood, the cart part is nearby and the beach is only a 5-7 minute walk. The owners were very responsive and accommodating to our special request. Our only minor complaint was the lack of window coverings --- great for adults, not so great for kids sleeping past 6am on vacation!

Summary: We stayed here with 3 adults and 4 kids (8-12). The place was immaculate and was well stocked. We spent two days on Pirates Beach, a quick 2 min drive, we’re able to find parking miraculously during Memorial Day weekend! I’d highly recommend renting a golf cart if you can to get around. Def enjoyed this beach more than both East and Stewart. The outdoor shower and spigot on the upstairs balcony were great and the balcony outside was super cool. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms had everything we needed. Overall, a super great place to stay - close enough drive to the main town.

Summary: The house was as advertised in the pictures. The only thing I would improve is the grill was not clean. Other than that there was no complaints from me or my family. The host responded to questions quickly and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely select this home again for a future stay in Galveston.

Summary: Beautiful spacious home with ample room for all my family!! Downstairs was a gorgeous bedroom with a huge closet where my grandbaby slept in his specially designed infant tent!! That was perfect for him! "The kids all loved the bunk room with the cute animals. The other two upstairs bedrooms were beautifully decorated as well as the entire house.. The antique orange dresser was a big hit!! GREAT!!

Summary: We had a great family vacation with 9 people (4 adults, 4 kids, and a baby) for a long weekend. The house looks like the photos (it is beautiful, and love the back decks) and had plenty of space for our group. We greatly appreciated having a high chair for the baby and the toys and games in the house. The kitchen is very well appointed. We did have some trouble with the electronic front door lock on our last full day. I was able to get ahold of the owner, but still wasn’t able to get it working. I’m sure that was fixed after our stay.
