1 Bedroom Apartment in Los Ayala

The Playa Suite has an open plan with kitchen with full oven, fridge, blender, coffee pot, BBQ, sofa, European kingsize bed (or two twins), private patio and entrance. The bathroom has an open shower. The 3.5 meter high ceiling with a herringbone brick design along with the huancaxtle wood shutters, original works of art make this suite beautiful.
Hand carved furniture and hand painted bathroom fixtures (even the toilette!) add to the charm of this suite.
The beach in front is a very sandy, safe, swimming beach. There are golf clubs, tennis racquets Kayaks, a SUB (stand up paddle board) and bicycles are available for guest use as are beach umbrellas, chairs and beach towels.
The beach is a great place to eat! Fresh muffins, cookies, oysters, fish prawns, pineapple filled with fruit, empanadas, nuts, etc. are all available to add to your total enjoyment of our little Mexican pueblo. One cannot go hungry here!
A massage therapist is available at our guests' request for a private in-suite massage at a very reasonable rate and yoga classes nearby when in season.
There are a number of very good restaurants just steps away on our beach specializing in fresh fish, large prawns, tacos, margaritas, piña colladas, and fresh coconuts. In addition, the pueblo of Los Ayala has numerous shops for groceries and souvenirs.
The towns of Rincon de Guayabitos and La Peñita are within walking distance or via collective taxis only 4 blocks away. Puerto Vallarta is an hour distance and the buses leave from La Peñita every 30 minutes. The surfing towns of Sayulita and San Francisco (San Poncho) are 30 minutes away. Taxis are also plentiful and inexpensive.
There are many interesting places to explore like historic San Blas, Tepic, and the Petroglyphs,
We are proud sponsors of Jaltemba Bay Animal Rescue (JBAR). Pet lovers most welcome! Small, well-socialized, quiet pets considered with prior permission. Pets must be leased while on the property and taken off the property to do their 'business'. There is a $50.00 fee.
Smoking is allowed in designated areas. Priority is always given to other guests' comfort.
The home also a one bedroom suite with a 180 degree view of the ocean, the beautiful 2 bedroom Vista Suite and another studio suite available, all with full kitchens, bathrooms, private entrances and terraces.

Summary: The property and grounds are well kept. The charming gardens and Mexican decor is one of a kind. We felt comfortable immediately. The suite supplied many extras for cooking, a wide array of kitchen needs. It was a very relaxing stay with a private area next to our suite with patio table and a charcoal bbque, which we used for shrimp. Lawn chairs and beach chairs are readily available and just a few meters beyond the gate is the beautiful beach. The sound of the waves lulls you to sleep. There are a variety of restaurants to eat at within walking distance and the ability to catch a bus or a collectivo to the Guayabitos market on Mondays or the market in La Penita on Thursdays. It was a great stay! Would recommend. The hosts are very nice people who make sure you have everything you need. Thank you M and B form Alberta Beach, Alberta Canada

Summary: I loved my stay in the Playa Suite at Corazon Contenta! I had a very relaxing three night stay and found the peace and quiet I was wishing for. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing outside my room, and having the ocean and hiking trails right outside my front door. Los Ayala is a very cute little town and felt authentically Mexican to me. I had an awesome meal with an awesome view from Vista de Guayabitos and loved exploring the beach at Punta Raza. Lin and Jim were great hosts, very warm and welcoming. Thanks guys! Hope to be back before too long.

Summary: Our stay was very comfortable. We enjoyed our time lounging in the well kept grounds, kayaking and our hike to El Toro lookout. The beach is beautiful however extremely crowded on weekends but great for walks in early morning! Our suite, la playa, could use a couple of comfortable chairs at the kitchen table and we had essentially no wi-fi coverage in our suite or out by the hammock area. Suggest system upgrade. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Summary: This is a lovely gem to visit - our first time visiting the west coast of Mexico. The hosts are friendly, enjoy meeting guests. The same for the local people in Los Ayalas. Summary: Great Place, right on the beach. Very quiet. The yard has lovely charm and packed full of trees, plants and ornaments. Each of the sleeping quarters have a unique charm. Looking for authentic place for your visit, this is the one. Lin and Jim are warm and wonderful people. We had some great conversations.

Summary: We throughly enjoyed our stay in Los Ayala at Playa Suite. It is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. The rooms, the building, and the grounds reflect the artistic work of the owners and it is maintained in beautiful condition. It is located right on the beach but you can also lounge in the yard. The owners are wonderful people who really made us feel welcomed.
