Negative: The waiting time to get our keys (although we did online check in). The quality of the bed was poor. Inadequate number of staff at reception and breakfast.

Positive: I liked the staff a lot whose attitude was very customer-oriented. Quiet place, next to a restaurant. Good breakfast. Very well connected with public transport

Positive: Very friendly and helpful staff. The apartment was clean. Overall a great value. Exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was very good. Parking in the underground garage was no problem.

Positive: The PLAZA Premium is a great hotel if you're looking to spend time in Cologne. There's grocery stores, loads of restaurants and some concert / event venues nearby, as well as a tram station from which you can quickly reach most parts of the city. Though it's located on a busier road, I didn't hear any of the traffic in my room at all. The room and bathroom were very clean and pretty. The staff provided everything I needed for my stay and more, from tea to coffee and toiletries. For a quick check in and check out, you can do it all online, which made things a lot more comfortable. The rooms also come with A/C and heating which you can change to the temperature you prefer digitally. The WIFI was really good and consistent all throughout the building.

Negative: The beds could have been a bit softer, the mattresses were pretty hard throughout my first night. But you get used to it quickly.
