Summary: Grass was cut and property maintained pretty well. Inside was clean for the most part. Traces of chips on the floor & live bugs inside the sheets in that had to be evicted in master room and some hair on the shower shelf. No extra cleaning fees though. We just needed a place to crash to get to Whiteville for an event so it served it's purpose and the price was perfect. Warning....shower head facing opening of shower door and literally shoots water a good 6in outside of the shower onto floor. No way to turn water on without this happening. Got completely soaked trying to turn water off and it was all over the floor so most of our towels were used to wipe up the mess. AC and lights were on for us when we arrived and futon was very comfy.

Summary: What a hidden gem. We stayed here for an event over in White Lake. Close enough to be convenient! The house had modern amenities and a kitchen with cooking tools. Really felt like home. Thank you to Carolyn for doing a wonderful job hosting.
