Positive: I rarely leave reviews, but this place exceeded my expectations. The hotel has a unique charm that perfectly matches the Queen West neighborhood. The room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a short getaway. The location is unbeatable. I loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants, bars, and Trinity Bellwoods Park. It felt like I was staying in the heart of the city while still having a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day. The communication from the team was excellent from start to finish. Check-in was smooth, and any questions I had were answered quickly and professionally. For anyone looking for a boutique stay that offers great value, a fantastic location, and a memorable experience, I highly recommend it. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Toronto.

Positive: What a wonderful hidden gem in Toronto! The location couldn’t be better—right across from Trinity Bellwoods Park and surrounded by amazing cafés, restaurants, and shops. The room was spotless, modern, and surprisingly quiet considering how central the location is. The self-check-in process was simple and convenient, and the staff were incredibly responsive whenever we had a question. The bed was very comfortable, the room had everything we needed, and the attention to detail made our stay feel special. If you’re looking for a boutique-style stay with character, comfort, and great value in one of Toronto’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, this is the place. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the city! I forgot to say the restaurant food is so good.

Positive: Cannot fault the great location! Easy commuting with the 501 streetcar running just in front, connecting with the Toronto transit system. Trinity Bellwoods park just across the road. Many dining options within easy walking distance. And the "emergency" local 7eleven a short stroll away. Queries via the booking.com app were addressed relatively quickly. Bearing in mind the downtown location, the price was reasonably good.

Negative: Instructions for getting into the accommodation were not clear and the alleyway down the side of the building was less than welcoming. There is no reception/concierge service. It was self-check-in with digital keylock and self-check-out. We were expecting a kitchenette in the room, with some sort of cooking facility, as was displayed on the site photos, but there was only a refurbished fridge which was not initially working, possibly due to the fact that half the electrical sockets were not functional. Sofa bed was adequate but not very comfortable. The Queen suite that we stayed in had obvious signs of recent refurbishment which seemed to have been rushed, with bits of sealant on the door and masking tape still in situ (as well as the non-functional sockets). The checkout requirement of emailing a photo of the remote controls (television, AC, blinds x2) seems rather pointless, especially as we didn't have an AC remote control to begin with and needed to request one.

Summary: Fantastic location at competitive price but don't expect the "hotel experience" personal touch
