Bright, airy and luxurious, this home is only 40 meters to the water to launch the kayaks that are available for your use, with the best RI beach only metres further away or wander along the board walk to the ferry to access all that Paynesville has to offer, fresh bakery, renowned restaurants and much more.
If you prefer to stay in, there is ample dining – inside and out. While away the hours curling up with a good book in a hammock or in the reading nook while you watch the world go by. Summary: Place is in a stunning location, 30 seconds from the beach and waterfront. Home is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, cleaning etc. Games room is amazing and was the main reason we booked this stay. My one piece of feedback I have is that the pool table and dartboard are quite aged and probably need replacing. Pool table has a very noticeable tilt and and the cushions are loose/fall off.Overall, an amazing stay and we would definitely go back. Smooth, flawless, and loved every moment!

Summary: The house was clean, spacious and very thoughtfully kitted out for a family vacation. The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked with all you need to prepare a meal; living spaces are roomy and comfortable; bedroom are clean and cozy. And the extras really made it feel special -- the game room, the barbecue, the extra yoga mats, the mosquito coils, dog bed and bowls, scented candles and welcome note. The whole family -- from the 5 year old to the 80 year old, and even the dog -- was overjoyed when we saw the place in person.

Summary: Best well equipped kitchen had everything you need to cook all weekend. Beds whete all comfortable. And the koala's came out to say hello.. Would not recommend this house if you pets are not well behaved as the fences are not %100 secure

Summary: Great location, house was generally clean except the oven, smoked when in use and the only oven tray was in the oven, dirty. Sofa beds could do with an update and new globes in most of the lights as they flickered. Pegs were old and broke when used. Spare doona's were not the cleanest. The wii didn't work properly. Not much privacy with only sheer curtains or nothing at all.

Summary: My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room and short walk to the ferry. Saw plenty of koalas on the island. The house itself was clean and we really enjoyed the games room. Only some minor criticism was lack of/dim lighting in the main living area (at night) and some dampness on the carpet in the games room which I am told is being fixed. I recommend and would stay again

Summary: My family visited from overseas and we had a wonderful time on the island. We got to see so much wildlife and come back to a nice warm, cozy house. Even though we had some rain, we were never bored with the games room available. Highly recommend!

Reviewer Comments: Our family of five, + the Greyhound, have been visiting Plymouth on Raymond Island for the past two years, and it never fails to exceed our expectations. We eagerly anticipate our two-week stay here every year. The location is perfect; it’s a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, yet it’s a convenient to stroll along the board-walk and catch the ferry to Paynesville, giving you access to shops, restaurants, and other attractions. The breathtaking sunset views from the beach 50 metres away are simply spectacular. The maintained and clean facilities make us feel right at home. The amenities are fantastic – from the well-equipped kitchen, to the cosy lounge room, everything is thoughtfully designed. We spend our days playing Kelly Pool or Table Tennis when inside. Then the island offers so much more. The accommodation provides stand-up paddle boards and kayaks for water activities. That’s when we’re not exploring the nearby beaches, hiking trails, and enjoying the local cuisine, and our evenings are pure relaxation by the fireplace.We’ve created countless wonderful memories here, and I’m not sure if I want let the secret out, of how good Plymouth really is. The joy in anticipation this place brings our family each year when we book the accommodation.Our annual family getaway wouldn’t be the same without this outstanding coastal holiday accommodation. It’s truly a five-star gem, and we can’t wait for our next visit!
