Nestled in the Poconos this lakefront home is the perfect family get-a-way. This home has something for everyone. No longer is their a Hot tub available. Whether you're relaxing and enjoying the sunset, cruising in the canoe, fishing from the dock, or making s'mores with the kids by the lakeside firepit you will be assured to make family memories to last a lifetime. Included is complete lake access with dock, so bring your boat or jet ski to enjoy tubing and/or water skiing, or just fish and swim off the dock. A canoe, row boat, and various sized life jackets are provided for you. You may enjoy 3 kayaks for a small rental fee. . The home is cozy with a rustic stone fireplace, cathedral ceiling, open floorplan with exposed beams, hardwood floors and breathtaking lake views from almost every room in the house. Spend countless hours of fun and relaxation at this secluded home away from home and/or take advantage of the nearby attractions that the Poconos has to offer. The home is located between Scranton and Lake Wallenpaupack and although very private, the home is within 10 minutes of grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacies, and fast food and small town restaurants.
The deck is accessible through 3 separate rooms via sliding glass doors. The large completely level yard contains tire swing, fire pit and a large picnic table with benches. There is ample outdoor seating to enjoy the lake and the magnificent sunsets. The dock is a perfect location for young children to catch a lot of fish, sometimes even with just the net! Also outdoors in the level back yard is a basketball hoop and plenty of parking. If raining we have many board games.
In the summer, there is so much in the area to do! Fishing, hiking, biking, white water rafting, water skiing/tubing, boating, horse back riding, golfing, swimming, etc. There are many close by state parks/recreational parks with pools and/or lake beaches. There are museums and amazing waterfalls nearby. There are fun water parks and other parks for kids with go-karts, arcades, miniature golf, laser tag, etc. A nearby animal park gets you closer to the very active animals than you can get in a zoo.
In the winter, enjoy sledding behind the house, and ice skating/hockey on the lake. The house is centrally located between major ski resorts (closest is 20 minutes).
The provided dishwasher, microwave, gas grill (PROPANE NOT PROVIDED) and washer/dryer on-site allow you to have more time available to spend doing whatever you like best.

Summary: This was our second year staying here. The location is quiet and peaceful. The house is spacious and easy access to the lake. We rent the kayaks and boat which is a great time for the kids! Troy is very responsive to messages.

Summary: The lake house was everything and more than what we were expecting! Location is great! The house is well equipped, and the yard with lake was where we spent most of our time! The kayaks and pedal boat were great for our teenagers and they had a blast! Host was great to communicate with. Hoping to comeback soon!!

Summary: Great week at the lake house. Excellent lake frontage, deck, flat yard. Great Lake for fishing, kayaks, paddle boats etc. Not really ideal for power boating or swimming. House is good size and good condition, be aware of no AC. Highly recommended overall

Summary: A lovely big and spacious house for adults and children. The lake, dock, boats, hot tub, and fire pit made for never a dull moment. The WiFi was excellent for the classes we had to keep doing. Exactly what we needed at this time!

Summary: we really enjoyed the house and the lake! The house felt spacious and was just great for our extended family of 7. GREAT for kids- the owners stocked the house with games and activities, (the high chair was great!!) the house felt spacious and the property was nicely maintained and comfortable. The lake was clean and everyone had a great time using the kayaks, fishing from the dock and the kids loved the small rock beach area- just perfect for toddlers! The owners were responsive to our questions, left clear instructions for everything in the house and property. We'll book again in the fall! Thanks for a great vacation!!

Summary: The house was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and located in a private setting. A large deck with plenty of seating overlooking the lake was great for dinners at sunset. The dock was good for swimming, fishing or using the provided kayaks/boat. Catching fish from the dock was easy and perfect for kids. We had good communication with the owners as well. Our family had a enjoyable and relaxing vacation here and hope to return.
