Summary: Beautiful traditional family house. Amazing views. Lovely pool. I swam most days. Peaceful setting that we did not want to leave. Stayed for a month!. Giorgio and his sister were very helpful. Well stocked kitchen. We fell in love with Poggio Mirteto town. We had lovely walks, visited hill towns . Enjoyed Marmore falls and Narni in particular.. Easy access to train station in 20 minutes. Umberto on hand next door if there is a problem. Bliss....

Summary: The property was amazing the pool was big and we had lots of fun there the owners were so helpful and friendly the local town was close and had everything you need restaurants and local shoes etc. the views were superb Rome is only an hour drive perfect place we will be returning at some point thankyou

Summary: We were blown away by the incredible view upon arrival and the pool was glorious. Giorgio was incredibly attentive to our every need - answering our queries immediately, providing local information he thought might be of interest and providing things we needed within minutes! The house is full of lovely artworks, we especially liked the watercolour paintings. We had a truly special holiday, thank you Giorgio.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Giorgio's place. We are 3 friends who stayed for the month of September and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Livia and Girogio were so friendly and made sure we had everything we could need - Giorgio very kindly kept the swimming pool open into October for us! The house is even more beautiful than the photographs and in a lovely, quiet area with spectacular views of the Sabine Hills and Rome. The kitchen is fully equipped, with three lovely bedrooms and two bathrooms made this the perfect space for us and the few friends that came to visit. While a car is essential, the local train station in Poggio Mirteto Scalo (about a 15/20 minute drive) meant that getting into Rome was easy and cheap. I highly recommend the area and Giorgio's place - thank you so much!

Summary: Beautiful large house with a wonderful atmosphere and wonderful views. Private, quiet surroundings, and still only 10 minutes by car supermarkets, restaurants, gelateria and more. Everything works, and owners are super kind and helpful. Thank you very much, Giorgio and family! The pool was perfect for playing, relaxing and cooling down, you can also swim in the river 10 minutes away.

Summary: Livia & son Giorgio couldn’t have been more helpful & kind especially when we had car rental problems at Rome airport. Their home is a lovely peaceful place for a retreat, a good time to relax. Stunning views - plus a lovely pool.

Summary: We had a very good time at Giorgio's place with our 3 kids between 8 and 13 years oud. A nice house with a perfect view and a good swimmingpool for hot days. Very quiet surrounding and a lot to see and to do. Not only visiting Rome is an option, but also beautiful villages and marvelous nature like Monte Tancia. The contact with Giorgio before and during our stay was very good and he was always available to help. We hope to visit this place again.

Summary: This is a beautiful spacious house, surrounded by a large private garden with stunning countryside views, equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. A real home from home! There is a large swimming pool, many seating areas and two dining tables outside – you really are spoilt for choice. Everything is obviously well maintained and very well looked after, the furnishings are very comfortable and tasteful and there are lots of personal touches. There were only two of us staying, but the property is easily big enough for eight people. The house is in a lovely rural location, which is very peaceful and relaxing, but you are also well located for local shops and restaurants. If you want to explore further afield, the gardens in Tivoli are about an hour away by car and Rome is easily accessible in 45 minutes by train from Poggio Mirteto station (we found it easiest to book tickets at www.thetrainline.com as tickets are then immediately available on your phone). We caught the train to Tiburtina station in Rome and then used the underground Metro to both the Colosseum and Vatican City stops (Metro tickets can be bought at Tiburtina station from the ticket machine near the platform). We must say a big thank you to Giorgio who met us on arrival and also provided lots of useful information prior to our holiday. We absolutely loved our stay and did not want to leave!
