Positive: We just loved staying here, my dad wants to go back ASAP, loved watching the sea coming in and out and being able to have all the family round the dining table
Negative: I wish there had been a clothes horse, and a sink and couple of plug sockets in the utility room, but not a big issue, we didn't use the tumble dryer.
Summary: This was such a lovely family holiday, we loved it and want to go again soon.

Positive: This house is in a perfect location for doing southern routes on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, as it has easy access to the south and west. It is right on the Milford Haven estuary, so has great views of all the activity on The Haven - as long as you are comfortable with the refineries etc being so close (which essentially we were). The main room / kitchen is great for a group of old friends cooking, chatting and eating together. The bedrooms suited us all well too. Very convenient parking - but do follow the instructions for getting there, not Google Maps! Things we did which we'd highly recommend: go to the Milford Haven Museum (just behind the Milford Marina) for a really good explanation of the oil & gas activities on The Haven. Also, buy some shellfish / crabs / lobsters from the lobster company on the docks to cook at home (you buy them alive, so you may need advice on how to deal with them).
Negative: The owner was not very communicative and did not have a local representative when we had a problem locking the balcony door and the owner was apparently out of the country at the time. There was ambiguity about access arrangements when we first booked the property (one communication gave a number for the key safe; another said the number would be sent to us during the week before we arrived. My email attempt to get an answer on this a few days before our holiday started was unanswered - but this may be due to failings in the booking.com emailing system, I cannot be sure either way on this). Cleaning was patchy (2 WCs were dirty and there was a dirty shirt under one of the beds, where it was also very dusty). There was only one toilet roll in the whole house, for 3 WCs - it would be better to leave at least some toilet paper by each WC, to get us started. The kitchen layout is great for lots of people to cook - but all bar one of the pans was "family sized" - ie, not for a group of eight adults. There is also scarcely enough cutlery for a group this size. There is some maintenance needed - eg drawer handles coming off; the coat hooks in the utility room kept on coming off the wall. The balcony door was intermittently impossible to lock.
Summary: A great location for walking the Pembrokeshire coastal path.

Positive: Beautiful renovated house with many original features… there has obviously been a lot of thought on how the house flows, especially the open plan living area with stunning views and thoughtful touches of the bi-folding doors and balcony.
Negative: Unfortunately the cleanliness of the kitchen and en-suites was a big disappointment for our special occasion stay… arriving to find the grill pan soiled with food (inside oven) layered with foil and covered in fat… dirty dish clothes left on the kitchen window sill… soiled dishes placed back in the cupboards… dirt and dust inside kitchen cupboards… Lounge area floor dusty… information folder sticky and grubby. En-suite sinks not cleansed fully Lower floor continuous smell of damp.. Felt these issues were a let down to this beautiful property and because of this I probably would not stay again or recommend.
