A beautifully presented two bed apartment overlooking the picturesque marina with breathtaking views across the Milford Haven waterways. This stylish apartment has recently been renovated to a high standard with its own private balcony off the open plan living room and kitchen to enjoy the spectacular Pembrokeshire sunsets. The apartment benefits from a king size bed and a super king bed in the second bedroom which can be made into twin beds if needed.
Close by are lovely boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. You are also just a short drive away from some of Pembrokeshire's incredible beaches such as Marloes Sands, Broad Haven, and Newgale. The popular seaside resort of Tenby is 19 miles away and there are a plethora of other visitor attractions within easy reach.

Through the entrance is two double room and a family bathroom. To the rear of the apartment is an open plan with kitchen, diner and sitting room. There is a balcony off the sitting room overlooking the Milford Haven Marina.

There are plenty of restaurants, bars, art galleries, nautical museums, beauticians, hair salons and gift shops within the Marina. Tescos supermarket is a short walk away and there's a local cinema/theatre in the town centre. Milford Haven is a good base to explore all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. You are within easy reach of Blue Flag Beaches, visitor attractions such as Oakwood and Folly Farm, plus the county town of Haverfordwest is only 8 miles away.
Getting there
From the town to the A4076 along Hamilton Terrace onto Victoria Road. Just before the roundabout turn left onto Nelson Quay, Orion House is on the right hand side opposite foam and the carpark.

Summary: This is a really nice and well equipped flat. It had everything for a holiday stay and being located in the marina gave us a nice holiday feel. We didn’t encounter any problems as listed in a previous review (they probably were addressed before our stay) apart from the occasional smell from the restaurant in the stairwell. No smell in the flat, though, despite having the windows fully open. Communication with the letting agent was easy, too. We had a really nice stay.

Summary: We had a wonderful week in Milford Haven, a part of the UK we’d never visited before! The apartment had a fabulous view over the marina, an amazingly comfortable bed and had everything we needed for our stay! When we arrived and entered the apartment, there was quite a strong smell of fish but then we realised we were just above a fish restaurant. We found that you could only smell it during the restaurant opening hours and we did get used to it after a couple of days so that we didn’t notice it…….. it wouldn’t put us off returning! I’ve given 4 stars for the cleanliness of the apartment because it was spotless but for a couple of relatively small things…. the lampshades on the bedroom lamps were covered in hair & fluff and there were dust & hair balls under the bedside table when I went to plug in my hairdryer. I gave 4 stars for communication because the night before we were due to go, we hadn’t heard anything about how to access the property…..we received a telephone call as we were leaving to go and was told that because we had booked through Vrbo, Vrbo hadn’t given the property company an email address for them to contact us! The restaurants on the marina were lovely and we particularly enjoyed Martha’s Vineyard and Impasto, the pizza bar.

Summary: Nice big apartment. Location reasonably good though not as central as the listing had led us to believe (maybe because the marina is still in the process of developing - at the moment many of the outlets are closed or limited). We had two main issues: a) the mattress in the main bedroom was really really saggy, it was like sleeping in a hammock, and we both got backache during the week. It definitely needs replacing. b) the other issue was the cleanliness. The glasses and some of the kitchen utensils were grubby, the floor not swept properly, the hallway really grubby - something spilt down the front of the apartment door, the lift and entrance hall in a really poor state of repair (including a hole in the wall opposite the lift) and the smell from the restaurant kitchen below was really strong as soon as you opened the apartment door (though not obvious in the flat itself, which was great). The dishwasher had run out of salt and rinse aid (not things we would expect to need to provide. We brought dishwasher tablets, of course).
