Negative: If I want to be picky - would prefer a shower cubicle but I understand keeping the bath for children.

Positive: Location excellent for all amenities. Fish and chips and Chinese takeaway up the road and Tesco Express a short walk away. North and South beaches within a walking distance of approx 20 minutes away. Quiet and peaceful location with a lovely garden, secure for dogs. Home from home, with everything provided for a relaxing break away.
Negative: The mattress in the smaller double bedroom was quite uncomfortable - springs were sticking out and could do with a replacement. Also the curtains in all bedrooms are quite thin and let the daylight in very early. Black out curtains would be a huge improvement in the summer months.
Summary: A lovely cottage in a very convenient location. Everything you need for a perfect break away.

Positive: Welcoming cosy cottage with great facilities. We loved the garden room where we played board games. Great location - we walked to the North & South Beaches from the cottage. Bed comfortable. Shower hot & powerful.
Negative: Master bedroom could do with a blackout blind /curtains as the sheer white curtains meant we were awake exceptionally early as it was so light.

Positive: The property is a great size; though the second double bedroom is a little compact, and the downstairs bathroom might not be for everyone. Instructions/directions were great, parking handy. Very good value for money. There was a bottle of wine, crisps and dog treats left which was a nice touch, though we probably would’ve preferred a pint of milk. Clean and tidy.
Negative: The major thing was the location, Heacham isn’t one of the nicer coastal villages in North Norfolk. The pubs are okay, but nothing amazing. Very few shops and a lack of nice places to get a coffee. We ended up driving out more than we would’ve liked. But we appreciate this is beyond the influence of the owners. That said this is probably reflected in the great price. Otherwise the odd bit of damp that could be addressed fairly easily. And the bath “sheets” were more like bath tea towels
Summary: Great value, good sized property with friendly hosts but the location may not be for everyone.

Positive: It really could not have been better. The host had thought of everything. The cottage itself was warm, cosy, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The garden at the back was a sun trap, even in April. Would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend to others. We also loved Heacham and would recommend the coffee at the local coffee and brownie shop, who by day 3, knew my daily order. A big thankyou to the host for a lovely stay, and the thoughtfulness put into guest stays.
Summary: Cosy, Clean and comfortable.
