Positive: This place is definitely remote and that’s exactly what makes it special. If you’re looking for nightlife, malls, or easy Grab/Bolt rides everywhere, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you want peace, quiet, and a chance to experience the real life of a local fishermen’s village, it’s honestly perfect. The area feels very authentic and untouched by mass tourism. We loved walking around the village, seeing the local fishing life, and visiting some really unique temples nearby. The hotel also has kayaks available to rent, which made exploring the local Canal even more enjoyable. Since the area is quite remote, there are no Grab or Bolt services available, but the reception staff were incredibly kind and always helped arrange taxis around the village or even all the way to Bangkok, which made everything very easy. One of our favorite parts was the seafood from the hotel restaurant — exceptionally fresh and delicious. They even offer free delivery to your room, which was such a nice touch. Breakfast was also great, with both American and Asian options available on the property. Overall, this stay felt more like experiencing a real local community rather than staying in a typical tourist destination, and we really appreciated that.

Positive: The resort was amazingly clean and new, the personal was super nice. The place is something different than what you see in usual resorts, there are no turists around, nobody is used to them and prepared for them, so it felt like actual real Thailand. We rented a motorbike and explored the fishmans village, local market is in walking distance and we also rented kayak from the resort and explored the canals. However, you will not find usual comfort you get in tourist places, there is no Bolt or Grab around, menus in restaurants is on Thai only and people often don't speak English.
