Breathtaking views! Amazing vista with sunset views from your living room and large back deck. Enjoy lots of natural light from clerestory windows and the remodeled kitchen. You will love the gas stove, exposed beams, tongue and groove ceilings, and skylights.
Great for couples and small families or small groups of friends.
The kitchen and dining room are connected. Windows here look out to the deck and beautiful view.
Living room has big windows looking over the deck and view, the sliding glass door is here. Cozy up next to the fireplace while enjoying the snow outside.
Larger bedroom has a small loft with a modern futon. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. The shower/tub combo bathroom is between the bedrooms.
This is a classic, clean, updated 2BR,1BA cabin in the woods.
There are not many fences in this neighborhood in order to maintain the natural setting. Please stay only in this property's yard, especially during the snow season. Guests will have access to the entire home including the porch, and yard.
The host will not be on-site, but is available from 8am-5pm for non-emergencies and 24 hours for emergencies. If the cleaning does not meet your standards on your day of arrival, contact us prior to 5:30pm. My team and I manage several homes in the area. We are always happy to help with any issues during your stay. Please feel free to reach out to us and we will do our best to help make your stay as enjoyable as we can.
This home is located on a cul-de-sac. The neighborhood is enjoyable to walk around.
This home is in the cool pines of Kachina Village, a rural "suburb" located off I-17, just 6 miles south of downtown Flagstaff. Near the National Forest Access and PumpHouse wash so you can walk out the front door and choose your next adventure!!! Hike a nice little 3/4mi flat loop or take hundreds of miles of trails all the way to Sedona without hitting civilization! Including an outdoor family playground at the front of the neighborhood.
Ponderosa Vista also serves as the perfect central location for many outdoor activities….skiing, snowboarding, and sledding in the winter; hiking, golf, bicycling and much more in the summer. With our central location, you have easy access to the Grand Canyon, the spiritual red rocks of Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, Meteor Crater, Bearizona, Flagstaff Extreme, Polar Express and the North Pole Experience. Whether you are looking to explore the area’s many attractions, or simply spend a quiet weekend with no intentions of even leaving the cabin, you are sure to enjoy your stay.
There is one parking space in the driveway.
This is a car-access home, out of the city with no public bus service.
4 wheel drive is recommended for the winter months.
Close to the small Flagstaff Pulliam airport and around the corner from Fort Tuthill County Park.
Mini-split Air Conditioning and heater have been added in the living room and bedroom with the loft to even further your comfort!
Both units must be set to the same setting to work. Either both heat or both cool. Airflow management is critical to keeping the home comfortable. Many locals will open the windows at night and close them early in the morning to keep the cooler air in the house.
This home is situated in the Coconino National Forest. We treat the home monthly for unwanted pests. If you leave food out or doors open we cannot guarantee that pests will remain outside the home. During the rainy season, you may see spiders enter the home, despite regular extermination. No refunds are provided for the presence of spiders, mice, or other pests.

Summary: I cannot say enough good things about this house. It was spotless , adorable , in a great location and the best stocked VRBO we have stayed in. The pictures do not do the house and location justice. The only thing I don't like about the house, is that it isn't mine ! Love this place , and we will be back!

Summary: Overall, we loved the space and found that it was generally well stocked. The beds are super comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, and the outdoor space is a huge plus (especially the grill). Unfortunately, we were intending to work remotely for three days here and the wifi network just could not accommodate it. Both my partner and I had to use mobile hotspots because we could not connect to the wifi at the same time (and when one of us was connected, the speed was very slow). Also, the fireplace did not work which was rough the first night when it was very cold in the house but thankfully the weather turned and we had no issues with heating. Ultimately, the house is very nice but we wish that those things had been in working order.

Summary: We had a great weekend getaway at the cabin. It was perfect place for our small family to spend a weekend among the ponderosa pines in a quiet neighborhood There was a large snowfall before we arrived and all the snow was cleared making access very easy. The cabin is very clean, cozy and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace which really warmed up the whole cabin on the cold nights. The kitchen was very modern and we prepared many meals rather than going out, but we were only minutes away from Flagstaff and lots of local options. I would highly recommend this property for a peaceful getaway for a small family!!!

Summary: An absolutely wonderful cabin home for us to use as a base for day trips into Flagstaff and down to Sedona. Beautiful wooded location away from the downtown hustle and bustle. Nicely furnished with everything we needed. Communication with the property manager was top rate. Highly recommended for a couple or small family.

Summary: Stayed over Christmas, 2021. This is a beautiful property in an excellent area. The check-in, check-out process was smooth and the owner was responsive to our messages. They even left us a little bag of Christmas cookies to welcome us upon arrival. Kitchen is top notch, furniture is comfy, plenty of extra bedding and blankets, loads of non-perishables available - all things that make this place feel like a home away from home. Drawbacks: 1) This is really not suitable for 6 adults. We felt snug with 4 adults. The loft area technically sleeps 2, but on thin futon mattresses. Really the loft is most suitable for a kid or two under age 10. So think of it as a 2 bed, 1 bath cabin that sleeps 4 but could accommodate up to 2 additional kids. 2) It was tough to maintain an even temperature inside. Granted, we experienced very variable weather, but clearer instructions on how to use the on-wall heaters, the fireplace, and the floor board heaters in conjunction with each other would have helped.
