Welcome Aboard! “The Boathouse” is a beautiful, waterfront cottage on Mona Lake. The 4 bedroom, 2 full bathroom cottage is updated and modern, with the feeling of being on a large yacht. Nautically inspired design, and yachtsman like touches, will inspire you to take the helm, drop anchor and enjoy a vacation like no other. On the shores edge there is a deck so close to the water you will swear you are riding on the aft of your personal yacht. The hot tub is available year round, relax in the warm water and enjoy the beautiful view. Winter is a great time to visit, Muskegon’s winter sports complex is a short drive. Enjoy X-Country skiing, or try your skills on the luge, then come back, jump in the spa and relax. Celebrate the sunrise and the sunset on our 2021 Bennington pontoon, included in your stay, (pontoon is only available June 1st through October 25th) the perfect way to let all the landlubber worries fade away. The “Boathouse” has 4 bedrooms, 1 on the main level and 3 upstairs. Two of the upstairs quarters have balconies to relax and take in the lake breezes. There’s also a “head” on each floor with stand up showers, bath and hand towels are provided. The galley has all of your cooking and dining essentials to make delicious meals for your crew. Gather around the butcher block island to share fish stories or sit around our lakeside fire pit and reminisce about your memories of the past. We invite you to “set sail” on a vacation destination like no other, area attractions include Michigan’s Adventure theme park, world class beaches, beautiful Lake Michigan, gourmet restaurants, historic submarine, light houses, musical fountains, zip lines, and ice luges all await. Summary: We came up for a long weekend getaway during the Fall and it was simply perfect. From extremely prompt and helpful responses throughout the process by property manager Kim as we planned a last minute getaway to the home having all the small details that make your stay more enjoyable to the extra bonus of having a pontoon boat on a gorgeous lake. Definitely be back!

Summary: Everything about the house was perfect and just as described. Property manager Kim was super quick in responding. Pontoon and hot tub were best perks. Thank you so much for sharing the house. Also the proximity of the house from Lake Michigan & restaurants and breakfast was cherry on top.

Summary: This property is amazing! The house was extremely clean, and the pontoon boat was wonderful! We loved the fans in all of the bedrooms, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The layout of the house is PERFECT for hanging out and having fun. The kitchen had everything we could ask for and the outdoor living space is lovely! The neighbors were friendly, and we felt VERY safe. We had the PERFECT weekend!!!

Summary: We got checked in fine, and the hosts were great with the pre check in process. Stayed one night and had a hellacious storm roll through early our first morning. Lost power, most of the town lost power. The pontoon saved the trip for us. We went out on the boat and spent the day on the water, the hosts were gracious enough to be in communication with us for throughout the outage, they brought battery powered lights, games, for the kids and after the 2nd day with no power we had mentioned a generator for the fridge because of the meat we had brought from home and all the sudden they showed up with a generator. Anything we asked for they were able to provide, we did miss out on the hot tub for a few days but given the heat the day was providing it was just fine. Our two kids had a great time fishing and swimming and just boating and reading. All in all the owners did as much as they possibly good and we thanked them repeatedly for their efforts. Anything they could do, they took time out of their day and did. We had a great trip even considering the poor situation we were all dealt.

Summary: We had such an amazing stay! The house was very clean, views were beautiful, and the hot tub and boat were great for our family. Having the boat on the property really made our trip. The hot tub is drained and refilled up before each guest arrives which is extremely nice. This was easily my family’s favorite vacation home we have booked. The hosts were also very responsive!

Summary: Ou Family enjoyed the cottage and the boat. We spent most days at a very large beach across from the cottage. It was perfect for the grandchildren.

Summary: Property was exactly as pictured. Perfect spot for a family getaway woth our friends and family from Cjicago. Two families with 4 kids and the place was perfect. Good location on the lake and close to any stores (Meijer, sbux, etc). Very nice boat was a nice benefit also!
