Summary: House was very nice. We did have some problems figuring out the lock situation. But contacted owner and was given help. One thing I think needs to be changed in the write up would be the FULL list of rules need to be given up front. We understood no smoking in the house, but apparently according to the rules there is no smoking on the premises. So my son in law had to walk to a restaurant down the street in the rain. No shoes in the house. There was a very long list that needs to be shared,

Summary: This is a lovely little house in the heart of an Amish community. Perfect for a small family. It has 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Two bedrooms had a comfortable queen size bed and the third bedroom had a set of bunkbeds with a trundle bed, all fullsize, perfect for children or teenagers. The house looked recently updated and the living areas were clean and fresh looking. The only thing that could be improved was the basement floor needed some cleaning and there was some cobwebs at the ceiling that needed swept down. All in all, I would recommend this house to anyone wanting a nice and affordable place to stay while visiting Lancaster County. I would definitely look into renting this house again for a future visit!
