Summary: It was WAY overpriced and very dated. I have been in hotels/motels for a quarter of the price that were 3x better. The pictures are misleading. Run down. Advertising a "kitchenet" with only a microwave. The view would be better if 1/2 the windows didn't open up to garbage in the alley and opened dumpsters.

Summary: I understand this property was built in the 50's?, so I appreciate that it is still operating. I liked the older feel. But that said, the rooms need attention. There was a bedside table for one side of the bed and an upholstered chair on the other side. It was hard not having a proper place to put my phone and cup of water. The pocket door for the bathroom scraped everytime it was opened and closed. There are little ways to make a room nicer for guests and for the cost charged, I would expect more. The location is great.

Summary: For a lower priced hotel, The Port Townsend Inn is comfortable, well-located, and the rooms are nicely clean. The staff are accommodating. The city is charming and interesting.

Summary: Beds were clean and comfortable. All the plumbing and HVAC and lighting were in good working order. My fellow traveler lost the key to her room, but I found it in my pocket that evening, and no harm came from it. The staff were very undrstanding and helpful during that event. All in all a good two day stay for an older establishment. Don’t let the web site appearance fool you, it’s much beter than they make it look.

Summary: I am giving this hotel a 5 Star rating because they contacted me by both email and phone to inform me that they had found my iPad that I had not realized that I left behind. They then made it very easy to work out the arrangements to return it to me via UPS. Of course there will be a cost - but it was my error.... I really appreciate the honest and helpful staff! Otherwise, this is a very adequate basic clean and comfortable hotel with thin walls. Bring earplugs in case there is loud snoring in the next room.
