Positive: The lock box code was provided well in advance (although by chance I received the keys in person when I arrived). The owners live next door, and are very friendly. The cottage is very cosy, has character, is in very good condition and is very well equipped and designed. The property backs on to a river, and has stunning views when the tide is in (when the tide is out one gets a great view of mudflats). The free WiFi was also good. There was a welcome plate of cheese, pate and biscuits that was wonderful.

Negative: The cottage is right next to a highway that is used by quite a few trucks, but I only found that to be a problem between about 5.00 a.m. and 7.00 a.m.. The bedrooms are fairly small.
