Summary: Hotel was pleasant and comfortable but a few touches let it down. Lots of cobwebs in the lighting above the bed, no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms.. super early checkout time of 10am.

Summary: A truly one of a kind experience! The hotel is beautiful and the staff were amazing! Very friendly and very helpful! They held our luggage free of charge so we could go enjoy the caves and the castle experiences. A great place to stay!

Summary: This hotel is well situated to visit the cave as it is right next door. You get to park for 10 euros during the stay so that’s a plus. Breakfast was fine. However, some minor issues to note. There are no amenities to speak of in the room. No coffee/ tea maker, no tissue, no lotions. The shower drain was clogged but they fixed it. There is no gym, nothing but one restaurant. Seems odd for a 4 star hotel. All the nearby food places close at about 6 and stop serving food even earlier as they cater to the tourists for the cave, you must eat at the restaurant or drive. Would recommend but with the above in mind.

Summary: Only negative comment is there are limited dining options within walking distance of hotel after 5 pm. Hotel provides buffet but it seemed fairly expensive. We found a couple good options in Postojna a five minute drive away.

Summary: Overpriced for what you get. Rooms are super small washroom is not private buffet is mediocre and overpriced for what you’re getting. I recommend eating at one of the restaurants close to the castle will be 1/3 of the cost and 100% more enjoyable. Staff wasn’t my friendly. A dirty tablecloth was in change for two days and the area where breakfast was served, possibly even longer. Not worth $900+
