Positive: We had a lovely few days at Poundgate Park Cottage, the outside space is beautiful, and our little girl loved the swing and exploring. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, we were allowed to have a fire outside one evening to roast marshmallows which was fun! We loved watching for wildlife, there was a little goldfinch that sat outside the kitchen window every morning :) Great location, just a short drive from restaurants and supermarkets, we also took a visit to Pooh corner which was only a 15-minute drive away and a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Fast wifi connection meant I was able to work from home during the day, there is also a lovely pub across the road where the staff are really friendly. We are trying to find enough people so we can return to sleep in the bigger house next door and will be recommending it to others!
