Positive: Premiere Pierre was a real find. The building is stunning and the rooms equally as impressive, with all mod cons. The host was really lovely and welcoming and made a great suggestion for an evening meal (Restaurant/ bar directly opposite the accommodation) - which was amazing! It was just a shame we were only there for 1 night as we didn’t have enough time to explore Verdelais, which a really pretty village, so we will definitely be back!

Positive: This place is super. A little of the track . But it's worth it. I feel in love with the staff. I wish we could get to know each other better.

Negative: I understand the conversations with the plastic wrap stuff at breakfast. But. Local stuff should be a priority.

Positive: Our booking at a Chateau was upruptly cancelled and we had to look for a place last minute. We were glad to stay at Première Pierre. Despite reaching late, all instructions were clearly communicated.. Room was very big, like in the photos. Very quite little village. The hosts were very friendly and so lovely to talk to. Breakfast was included in the price, it was small and perfect for us. We reached at 8PM, no restaurant was open nearby Luckily we found an excellent pizzeria de L'horloge, just 8min drive away,

Negative: Nothing to dislike. Maybe window mosquito shields for fresh air.

Positive: The property was perfect for our base to explore the area on bicycle. It had a secure courtyard to store our bikes and many routes to cycle on, including the Garonne canal. It was easy to arrive by train in Langon then a 20min cycle to the prperty. The apartement was comfortable and had a small kitchen to cook with. There was a washing machine. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was provided. The village of Verdelais is charming and has a number of restaurants.
