Summary: Although the area is stunning and house is nice, there were a few things that we were not told about before our stay. First and most important was the building work next door. A villa is being built and was very noisy from Monday to Friday which made it almost impossible to stay around the lovely swimming pool and we had to go out most days. Also the room with the car beds is NOT A ROOM but an mezzanine with slopped roof and is not suitable for sleeping. It only contained two single beds but you were unable to stand up. Although this house looked clean, on closer inspection it wasn't. It really needs new beds and bedding and hanging rails in all rooms for your clothes. The guy who owns the house is really nice but we found that his attendance at the villa every day was intrusive.

Summary: We were a party of 6 60+. The house has everything you need. From pool, jeux de boules playfield, and kids games etc. The reception from Christophe was excellent. The nearby bakery gave us every morning fresh bread.

Summary: If you are looking for a large Villa with good amenities ... here it is! We stayed early June . So it seemed to me that not all local amenities were still not open.

Summary: The house and grounds are fabulous. Ideal for a family holiday. Everyone loved the pool. Our granddaughter learnt to swim for the first time!

Summary: We had a really lovely stay and our hosts were very welcoming. The villa was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed. I would have liked the pool to have been heated, however I know that I am probably in the minatory of guests who want that. All in all it was a great villa and we had a lovely stay.

Summary: The villa is beautiful and Chris couldn't have done more to make sure our stay was perfect. We explored the surrounding area and but had a great time enjoying the villa and the peace and quiet. Can't recommend this highly enough! Thanks guys!

Summary: This is a beautiful villa which is very spacious and comfortable. Our first impression was that both the grounds and villa were fantastic which was confirmed upon arrival of the very friendly and informative owner.  We were shown around the property in great detail and I have to say that the cleanliness and attention to detail were absolutely first rate. The bedrooms are comfortable and well decorated & furnished and there was all the household and kitchen equipment that we needed for a very comfortable stay.  We were there in a heatwave yet the house remained agreeably cool. The outside area is another very strong point with a large (heated) pool and beautiful views from the front across the hill to Bergerac and from the rear across lovely meadows and vineyards. The location is easy to find and is very convenient for Bergerac and the surrounding towns and attractions. Overall an excellent experience that we will repeat very soon.  I would not hesitate to recommend this property.
