Property just 20 minutes from Angers to Saint Aubin Luigné. Only 4 hours 30 minutes from Calais This property extends over 1 hectare of land 1/2 including a tennis court ( not restaured ) but a fully restaured 10mx5m heated pool may till september ( weather permitting ), with terrace and also barbecue, deck chairs, garden furniture, play ground outside. This area is located in the heart of the vineyards with stunning views. This property is located in a beautiful and quiet environment. Your children can play safely because the area is closed and secure.
This house of 220m² is completely renovated keeping all the regional charm of exposed beams and stone, terracotta and oak. It is ideal for family gatherings or friends. It can easily accommodate up to 25 people. On the ground floor there are 3 large living rooms, a dining room accommodating up to 25 people, a living room with not only more luxurious leather sofa but also a large flat screen with French and English channels, and large games room with pool table, poker table and many board games and library, and a 4th room kitchen fully equipped with kitchen utensils, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, cooking piano, microwave .. On the ground floor is 1 wood stove (wood provided) Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with bath, shower, toilet sink. Upstairs you will find up to 7 bedrooms 2 bathrooms 1 bathroom and 3 toilets. Two family rooms with large double bed 160 and bunk beds. 3 bedrooms with double bed 160 and 2 bedrooms with double bed 160, 1 bedroom with bunk bed, 1 bedroom with two sets of bunk beds 1 bedroom with a single bed and bunk bed. Offering 21 beds upstairs and on the ground floor 4 extra. All
the rooms are equipped with TV, 2 pillows per person luxurious duvet. Each shower room and bathroom are equipped with their own hot water tank. We provide a cot. Our rental includes linens, beds are so made for your arrival.

Summary: Beautiful property - grounds and home. Perfect for gatherings of families or groups. Well appointed for a mix of leisure, play and relaxation. The owner is very personable and easy to work with. Would highly recommend!

Summary: Our party of 17 had a great holiday at le vau. The house is a little bit "tired" but that is more than compensated for by the swimming pool (a few more sun loungers would be good) and extensive grounds. An excellent location particularly if you like wine tasting! There are plenty of things to do at the house - tennis, table tennis and other games. Some of the party enjoyed canoeing which is about 15 mins away.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone despite being a large family group. We enjoyed playing tennis and using the pool - although it was a bit chilly for a couple of days. Stephanie responded really quickly to all of our queries.

Summary: The gite was perfect and helped make our family holiday amazing. The checking in process was very easy and the communication between the owner was really good as we were delayed slightly coming over from England, but all was explained via text and when we arrived it was very easy to find keys etc. We had a party of 14 and it was definitely big enough with room still left over if there had been more. All the bedrooms were good sizes and there were plenty of bathrooms with separate shower rooms and also 2 baths. The beds were really comfortable. The layout of the house is good which means you can always see outside making sure the little ones are ok. There was lots of seating in and out of the house. The dinner tables were a great feature as there was lots of space if we didn’t eat outside. The pool was brilliant and we all had great fun with our inflatables. Again this is right outside the front door which meant it wasn’t far to get too. There was plenty to do both at the gite and in the local area. There are lots of vin yards with the most amazing wines at a fraction of the price of the supermarkets. The supermarket is a 5-10 minute drive and has everything you need. Stephanie was great and always quick to reply if there was any questions. If your looking for a chilled out family holiday then this is the place to go, We would definitely think about staying here again.

Summary: Had a brilliant holiday courtesy of Stephanie and would happily go again (in fact have already asked for prices on some dates for next year). There were 3 families consisting of 4 adults and 11 kids of varying ages. Everybody had a great time and were sad to go at the end of it. As it was during the heatwave the pool was used a lot. Was a really good size and was useful having fence and lockable gate to stop kids just wondering unsupervised. The actual house was really nice and a really good size, not to mention that the grounds themselves were great for kids just to go out and play in. Its next to a vineyard in the countryside and so it is lovely and peaceful. A few nice villages close by with small shops to get daily necessities and about 15 minutes away there is a Hyper U supermarket if you want to get a big food shop in for the week. Also a petrol station there for fill up on the way home. 2 huge dining tables make for good family meals. Cant really think of any negatives. Maybe pool was slightly murky at first but this was down to extreme heat and Stephanie came round to take a look and drop some more pool cleaning products in as soon as this was mentioned. This did the trick and we were all happy to play in the pool anyway, so just nitpicking really. The fact that Stephanie acted so promptly is much to her credit. So overall brilliant holiday and we hope to go back at some point. Thanks Mark

Summary: Due to a later arrival we were not met by the host this was unfortunate as we were met with a pool that was unusable due to it being green and cloudy and an extremely unpleasant smell inside the property I contacted the host immediately and she arranged to come the following morning she didn’t sctuslly arrive till late afternoon which meant another full day of no pool usage it took a few days of treatment till the pool was in a fit state to be used as with 9 adults an 11 children I was not prepared to put their health at risk I was told that the pool was cloudy due to excessive rain but being a pool owner myself I do know that it didn’t have sufficient chlorine despite there being around 30 plus tablets in the filter when we arrived Stephanie did rectify the issue with the pool with help from us but unfortunately the smell which elevated from the downstairs bathroom did not go away for the duration of our holiday it seems the septic tank lay st the rear of the bathroom and this seemed to be the source of the problem . The child’s play area was also unusable due to broken seats and sharp edges protruding from the broken slide but again the host did remove the broken arts and supply s new swing Dest and tried to repair the damage with masking tape there was also no storage in the bedrooms for your clothes or mirrors in any bedrooms which I mentioned and she did supply some mirrored squares and adhesive which rectified the issue all in all the property is spacious for a large family or several families but it is very old and in need of improvements there is s lot of land for kids to run around but beware of the too g sheep which kept breaking through the fence and there were a number of snakes around the property as long as you don’t expect luxury it is adequate if somewhat rustic and very basic it just needs some money spending for improvements we had s pleasant stay

Summary: We had a wonderful time here with 4 families, 17 people. The house, pool and gardens were perfect for our needs. Lots of outside space to relax and play games. The pool is nice and close to the house and outdoor seating area which is great with kids as you can always keep an eye on the pool while relaxing! Big tables in the dining area so we could all eat together. Good local amenities - 15 minutes to the supermarket and 5-10 minutes to nearby villages. The local area is beautiful. The weather was very hot during our stay and the trees in the garden and parasols outside provided plenty of much-needed shade. The downstairs rooms are large and airy so stayed reasonably cool. It did get a bit hot in the bedrooms on the hottest nights but it was a heatwave so that's to be expected. Stephanie was there when we arrived and left and gave us all the information we needed about the house and local area, a good host and no problems. We would happily come again another time!

Summary: Prior to our visit we had correspondence with the owner with quick response and answers to our questions. As we were 4 families (total of 16 persons) that were going to stay from different parts of Europe, we needed it to be convenient for all our needs, which it was. When we arrived, Mme Tonkin was very welcoming and helpful with information of the house and surrounding area. They were very flexible with us, as one family turned up early, and asking if there was anything else we needed and that they would happily supply it. The accommodation itself was great for us 6 adults and 7 children (2-9 years old) - one other family could not make it in the end. - but we had plenty of space. Great with an activities room for the kids to play in, playground outside, gated swimming pool so we did not need to worry for the children's safety near the pool, great garden where the kids could run freely as it was gated off. The tennis court has seen better days but was good fun to play on with the kids. Plenty of seating area inside when eating and outside when eating there. The property was clean. There are plenty of activities to do in the surrounding area and the house is surrounded with vineyards. Overall a great location for a relaxing family holiday.
