Negative: Village has nothing there, only a pub so you need to drive to get to anything. Could do with a local shop of some kind.

Positive: Pretty cottage, lots of character, comfy sofa! The cottage was spacious compared to many that we have stayed in. Upstairs shower is a small cubicle but has good flow! Milk and Welsh cakes left for us on arrival. Lovely village, close to the sea.
Negative: Kitchen a bit tired. The wardrobe in double bedroom creaked when you walked around, which was irritating. The sitting room door can’t be opened fully without forcing it because there is insufficient clearance over the stone floor. When we arrived the downstairs floors were really wet - they’d obviously just been mopped, so whilst it’s good to know they were clean, arriving to a wet floor and waiting for it to dry (on a cold wet day) was a bit off putting.

Positive: The cottage is lovely, comfortable and in a gorgeous little village. The (electric) log burner in the sitting room made it cosy along with the big comfy sofa. There is an upstairs shower room and downstairs bathroom which made it easy for our whole family. The location was good - it was walkable to the Pembrokeshire path, the little shingle beach and an easy drive to so many other places. There is a nicely stocked supermarket in the garage just up on the main road.
Negative: The single beds were hard for adults with rubbish backs but previous reviews had alerted us and we had taken extra mattress toppers that made them perfectly comfortable. It seems a good idea to get them provided for future visitors.
Summary: We would definitely recommend this little cottage.
