Summary: Nice pool and ocean front views. The room was nice and had a large patio with cushioned seating. There are a few day beds on the beach and at the pool. The breakfast was good.

Summary: I came to this hotel mainly in order to visit the nearby Reniala nature reserve (baobabs). The drive to Ifaty from Tulear was over a rough and rutted road. Best to travel this road by day. There are few facilities at Ifaty. Specifically, I had no access to telephone, television, newspapers, or Internet. Electricity from generator, only solar-heated hot water. The room was pretty basic, but comfortable enough. Staff was helpful and friendly. Reasonably good beach. Good location. Restaurant and bar OK.
