Just outside of our bay is a channel to Bluewater Lake where the water is Caribbean aquamarine blue - truly an amazing experience. Bring your boat, canoe or kayaks to spend your days exploring and enjoying the clean and clear water. Fishing is good and many activities can be enjoyed including road biking, mountain biking, golf, and shooting ranges. As well, there are many local places of interest to investigate. The home was architecturally designed to host larger gatherings and tastefully decorated. Grill out on the deck, socialize or star gaze on the screened porch, and listen to the rustling leaves while you restore and rejuvenate in a natural and pleasant environment.

Summary: This our second time staying here. John is a very gracious host. The house is beautiful, very clean, and with a breathtaking view of the lake from many rooms. The lake is peaceful and a wonderful place to recharge.

Summary: WOW the pictures do not do this home justice - a spectacular location for our family getaway on a quiet lake with stunning views. The home is fantastic and offers lots of space for the whole family to spread out or spend time together - my kiddo especially loved the loft! The nearby beach is also a great perk! The stairs to the lake are a bit steep but the fish are plentiful at the dock and throughout the lake! Mr. Soll is a dream host and a treasure of a man! We would love to come back again!!

Summary: **Review for VRBO Stay** We had a wonderful time at this beautiful place! The home was clean and comfortably accommodated all 7 of us. It was perfect for relaxing and playing games. Summary: We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay! Everything we needed was there! Except my suitcase that I forgot at home:0( I’m pretty sure it was unanimous that the cabin and lake setting was our favorite place to stay so far. The lake was amazing, I caught my first two Walleye on the same evening, my husband and rest of family caught small mouth and large mouth bass, northern pike, walleye, and many other fish…we had our boat and two kayaks with us so we were able to kayak fish and head over to Bluewater. John was a very thoughtful and attentive owner. Hoping we can go back in ‘25!

Summary: John was a wonderful host and was easy to communicate with. The house was awesome and was exactly what e we’re looking for. Every where you look, the views are amazing. The house was very well stocked with just about anything you need. We rented a kyak and a pontoon during our stay. The lake was wonderful and quiet . The sound of the loons are my favorite. We ended our evenings with campfires and games. It was a perfect week for our family get together. We hope to be back next year.

Summary: Been going to Grand Rapids area for 15+ years for fishing and usually go "lake to lake" but this time we stayed on the lake the entire time. THE VIEW was by far the best ive experienced and it was amazing to just walk down to the lake and fish all day in the unlimited spots available throughout the lake. John was extremely friendly and enjoyed the conversation we had. House was clean. Looking forward to booking my trip to the same house next year.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at John’s place and his hospitality. We particularly appreciated the intricacies of Wabana Lake and the ability to explore into other lakes with our boat. The property does not offer much backyard space, but it easily makes up for it with its beautiful setting. You will benefit to know that there is a small public beach 0.7 mile away by foot. You can also drive there if you so chose. The beach has three tables and a firepit. It was hardly visited on weekdays and we enjoyed visiting the beach and having it to ourselves most of the time.
