This stunning villa with private pool sits in G.G. near Labin in Istria. It is built in the style of traditional Istria farmhouses, with terracotta tiled floors, high ceilings held up by massive wooden beams and walls made of local stone. Villa Valmont is spacious and airy house with two bedrooms. Master bedroom is located on the gallery reached by the stairs from the kitchen. Second bedroom with two single beds, shower room and WC is tucked away on the lower level. The twin bedroom can also be accessed from the back garden, through a separate door. A few steps bellow the kitchen is a living room with large LCD satellite TV & DVD. Main bathroom is located on the ground floor, which includes a large open plan kitchen-dining room offering access to the outdoor covered terrace. Outside, the terrace has dining furniture and a build in BBQ - perfect for al fresco dining on the warm Istria evenings! The terrace leads into large sunbathing terrace, which feature a private, lighted (whom enjoys late night swim) swimming pool. The view is to die for, offering a spectacular combination of the eastern Istria coast, city of Pula and the southern, central and western coast.

You will also find the central fruit, vegetable and fish market (fresh fish every day) as well as 3 supermarkets down in centre of Labin.

Summary: It was a wonderful stay. The host exceeds all expectations and is always there when you need help. Katarina takes excellent care of you. The house is beautiful and the pool is just great. The location is wonderful, but you need a vehicle for all routes. The beaches in the area (about 10-15 km away) are terrific. It's all worth repeating.

Summary: The location of the house is unique. It is in the mountains and you have nothing than trees and bushes as afr as you can see. The ideal remote place and still high enough to see the sea from the teraasse and close enough to be in 7 minutes in Labin. From Labin you have multiple choices for beaches - depending if you prefer more loneliness or busy beaches. We enjoyed rather the not so crowded places. The house is equipped in a way that you will miss nothing. The pool is nice - for us it was a bit late after some September storms. The communication with the host family - outstanding. Very friendly and very responsive. From the hourse you can walk to one of the wineries (45 min) - enjoyable little walk. We enjoyed wonderful vacation - our labrador dog as well … he had so much to run and explore. A place to recommend. Thank you very much to our hosts !

Summary: We were lucky guests at the delightful Villa Valmont in July and couldn't be more pleased with our decision. Villa Valmont is in a quiet and idyllic location. You are in the middle of nature and yet quite quickly close to shopping and restaurants. The very charming house itself has everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen, several places to enjoy a glass of wine (or other things, of course) during the day and in the evening, a very nice pool, nicely and functionally furnished rooms and everything is, of course, very clean. A big thank also to the wonderful and cordial landlords Katarina and Zoel. They were always on site, always had a tip. Simply great and sympathic hosts! Thank you for everything and we can hardly wait to come back!

Summary: Katarina and her family were great hosts and very welcoming! We loved everything about the house and our kids loved the pool! If you are looking for a nice, peaceful place with a relaxing view, then this house is for you! It is off the beaten path, but still close enough to the beach and other lovely Croatian towns! We really enjoyed our time at this location and recommend it to anyone!

Summary: This is the most wonderful villa we have ever stayed in and we cannot speak more highly of Katerina, the owner. The Villa is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly want for a stay, with so many thoughtful touches. It is even nicer in real life than it is in the pictures. The air con worked well to keep the temperature down inside which is always good to have in hot weather. The villa and everything in it was spotlessly clean, and you can tell the pride Katerina has in making the guests comfortable. The outside areas are equally well looked after and there are plenty of options for sitting and eating in shade depending on the time of day. What you also get sitting outside is such peace quiet that is very rare to find. We saw two cars and one bin lorry drive by in the week we were there! This is not a villa where you can walk to the nearest shop or village but what you get instead is to feel right in the middle of nature – sharing your outside with butterflies and swifts diving into the pool to get a drink. It is a ten minute or so drive to Labin and supermarkets, and- a tip from Katerina – a daily fish market with the freshest fish you can imagine. The substantial barbeque came in very handy for these fish, washed down with local wine. There are plenty of places to explore locally – we would recommend a day out on Cres – and again Katerina was a good source of tips for places to go. As we said above, it is clear that the owner Katerina prides herself on how happy the guests feel here and we knew that she was available if we ever needed anything. (Not that we had need of anything because it had all been thought of!) We got a message to let us know when the pool was being serviced, another nice touch. To conclude – a fabulous week’s holiday in a fabulous villa!

Summary: What a wonderful week we spent in Villa Valmont during July this year. The property is set in gorgeous countryside with panoramic views. The peace and quiet is your constant companion apart from the birdsong, cicadas and fluttering of butterflies. Katarina was an excellent host. On hand if needed but respectful of our privacy. It was great to meet Romeo too! Property has everything you need, the air conditioning is a godsend, and the WiFi was strong and constant. There is more than enough kitchen equipment if you want to make meals and the shaded terrace was heavily used during the scorching week we had. The pool was very welcome given the weather and the seating areas next to the pool and the BBQ terrace provide plenty of options to either chase the sun or hide from it during the day. At night time with no light pollution the stars are bright and Milky Way visible. On Katarinas advice we used the SPAR on the outskirts of Labin and the market in Labins square in the new town. Close enough to beaches , Labin itself for coffee or drinks or indeed less than an hour to Rovinj and of course Pula places Villa Valmont close at hand to all the things you might want to do. At the end of the week we didn't want to leave and the biggest compliment we can give is that we'll be back next year. Summary: We have just come back from a two weeks stay in Villa Valmont and we could not have been more impressed with the Villa and the hospitality given to us by Katerina. If you are looking at getting away for a very peaceful holiday then this is the place for you. The Villa is secluded with a fantastic view all the way to Pula. Outside it has everything you need a great pool (it is actually bigger than it looks in the pictures), a covered dinning area and a seperate BBQ/dinning area. It was really good to cook with wood on the BBQ such a nice change to charcoal. Inside everything was very clean, all of the rooms were a good size and you had everything you needed. The kitchen was very well equipped, you really couldn't wish for anything more. Katerina was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble, we really got the sense that she wanted to make our holiday as good as possible. She was very respectful and always sent us a text to make sure it was ok to come and check the pool etc. We are keen cooks and found the Labin had some great ingredients including some of the freshest fish you are ever likely to buy in the indoor market. The local Istrian wine was also of a really good quality. Our whole experience of this Villa is well worth our five star rating :-)
