Summary: Garrett, the host, was very responsive to any question or need I had. His home was very comfortable for my multigenerational family, and dog. There was enough room for everyone, the kitchen was well supplied, and the beds were comfortable. I highly recommend this home.

Summary: Needed a space that could accommodate 7+ adults, 2 children and a dog. We all fit comfortably with lots of space to move. Step up to front porch was rocky and felt a bit unstable. Would recommend fixing it. The road leading to the house is unpaved as is the driveway. Both were in fairly good shape in spite of the rainy summer. Weather was cool so we did not use the enclosed porch. In better weather it would have been nice to use; would recommend a sweep, replacing missing windows, tool cool with only screens in place, and general cleaning of cobwebs.

Summary: The drive in on the longer side of the road was beautiful, farms and mountains. The home and property are nice, pretty and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. Would love to bring the dog and stay again!

Summary: We loved this property! It was exactly what we needed for 3 couples, 3 kids and 3 dogs. Nice open kitchen and dining area to have a big dinner! Kids loved the bunk beds and the adults loved the open layout for space. Real nice quiet area surrounding the place. Would go back again

Summary: The house is an easy 20-25 minute drive to Smuggler's Notch, which we loved. And we were grateful to have a place for our dog to stay with us. Unfortunately, those are just about the only good things we can say about this house. Shortly before check in time the host called to inform us that the cleaning lady was running a little behind and he needed us to delay our arrival by 15 minutes. Not a big deal, happy to wait a bit to ensure the house is clean. However, it was clear that she had rushed and had not cleaned the floors, which were quite dirty from the previous guests. Fortunately there was a vacuum in the closet. Horizontal surfaces did appear to be clean, but the fronts of cabinets, the (uncovered) kitchen garbage can and the bottom of the shower were not clean. The inside of the dishwasher was disgusting, with large chunks of food sitting in the bottom it started to smell rotten as the days went on. We chose to hand wash our dishes (which all had wet puddles in them in the cabinet when we arrived). Upon arrival we found that several of the kitchen and dining room chairs are broken and unsafe to sit in. The chair in the living room has an arm that falls off, and one of the recliners in the living room couch is broken. There was a note on the fireplace that it could not be used. Chunks of plaster were falling from the ceiling of the upstairs bathroom. There is also a very loud slamming noise that occurs in the basement a couple times an hour. Our family of 5 found the hot water heater could only handle about 3.5 hot showers per night. The towels provided were TINY, too small to comfortably wrap around my 10-year old, let alone a full grown human. The hand soap dispensers were topped off with water, not soap. There were no personal touches that other hosts offer — such as a booklet with information about the house, recommendations about local restaurants, etc. No sign of a plow at 7:30 am after a 6+ inch overnight snow accumulation. We knew we were paying a premium to be in the mountains during February break, but at the rate we paid we were not satisfied. The host messaged me before we departed asking for a 5-star review and to let him know directly of any issues we had before writing a review, the assumption being he would offer something in return for not mentioning problems with the house in our review. Instead, we wanted to write the candid review we wish we had seen before booking this place.

Summary: Great place to stay just outside the Burlington, VT area. We had a group of 8 and there was plenty of space. Less than an hour to Stowe Ski Resort and 35 minutes to Burlington. Would recommend for large groups.
