With pristine 360 degree views, this spacious Lodge is the perfect escape to kick back, put your feet up and enjoy one of our decks. If adventure is more your style, we have plenty of that as well with 48 acres of rolling hills, woodlands, creekfront, riverfront and trails. This property is ideal for activities any time of the year including hiking, biking, ATVing, hunting, skiing, sledding and fishing to name a few. This sleeps 30+ and works well with large groups, family reunions, retreats and weddings, which can be held right on the property. If you need more room, we have another sleep 25+ lodge located next door as well. Rivers Bend Lodge is only 30 miles from Telluride and Mountain Village, if skiing, shopping and the free gondola are on your Colorado "to do" list. Dolores is also 30 miles away, offering McPhee Resevoir for all your lake activities. Cortez is 40 miles away, also ideal for shopping and a wide variety of restaurants. The Cortez area also offers Mesa Verde National Park, Canyon of the Ancients, Four Corners Monument and Phil's World renown biking area. Day trips to Durango (70mi) offer the Narrow Gauge Railroad, zip lining, museums, shopping, and more.

Summary: Outstanding time in this huge house. Plenty of seats at the table and kitchen bar to feed all of us but and still be in the same room. Plenty of blankets, pillows, sheets and towels for an Army. 45 min drive to Ski Telluride(Mountain Village). Based on the drive during winter you must get 4 wheel drive and studded tires if they have them. Rent Jeeps from DiffJeeps in Montrose or Telluride, great way to go. DO NOT GO IN 2 WHEEL VEHICLES, too much snow, too much ice for the drive. Mark was always quick to communicate and responsive, appreciate it!

Summary: We really enjoyed the property. The kids had lots of fun sledding down the hills in the property. Plenty of snow. Chose to stay home one whole day so the kids could have a blast.

Summary: This property is AMAZING! I can't recommend it enough. We wanted to have a small wedding and have a place for all of our friends and family to stay. The cabin fit more than enough people and it was incredibly cozy. Mark is a fantastic host and provided more than we could have asked for. He was so accommodating, attentive, and kind. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous and well taken care of. The kitchen is well stocked and all the appliances work well. Even with 30 people and the cabin being solar-powered, there were never any issues with the electricity or hot water. We couldn't have asked for a better host or a better location for the weekend!

Summary: Great place for 16 adults to congregate from all over & comfortably stay. Mark was a fantastic host & helped us with a few things while we were there. Just 45 minutes from the reservoir for boating. Fishing & hiking. Would definitely recommend for this sort of trip. Thanks!
