The Nest at Plaistow Bed & Breakfast is totally private and separate to the main house offering a warm, friendly and high-quality bed and breakfast in a beautiful, spacious and extremely comfortable en-suite room. Guests can also enjoy breakfast or an evening meal in the outside space when the weather is warm and a woodburner is available for cooler evenings. Plaistow is a quintessential Sussex village, full of character and charm and off the beaten track yet with easy access to many attractions and not far from Gatwick and Heathrow.
LOCATION
The beauty of our accommodation is that it is separate to the main house ensuring privacy at all times. The Nest is spacious and comfortable and there is plenty of room for a travel cot or a child’s bed if required. The room is en-suite with bath and separate shower.
OUTSIDE SPACE
Guests have use of a lovely, separate outside space to enjoy a chilled glass of wine and there is a fire pit for chilly evenings. There is also a barbecue available for your use.

BREAKFAST
Served in the comfort of your own room (or outside when the weather is warm) with plenty of choice from a Continental to a full English, our breakfasts are delicious with fresh eggs from our own hens. Other ingredients are sourced from local suppliers where possible. Breakfast is not included in our nightly rate and is from £7.50 per person.
DINNER
An evening meal served with a complimentary bottle of house wine is also available, bookable in advance, and a menu can be sent to you prior to arrival. This works particularly well for guests who have to travel some distance to get to us and would like dinner on their first night.

Summary: We were delighted to have found this property. It was very well appointed and immaculately clean. Sally, the owner, could not have been more helpful or friendly. We had breakfast everyday and one evening meal. The food was of fantastic quality and was beautifully cooked and presented. We could not find fault & would highly recommend to anyone.

Summary: A lovely stay in lovely countryside. The unit is very comfortable and spacious. The countryside around is very nice for walking - and there is a booklet in the unit which maps some nice walks around. Had breakfast and dinner one of the days on our stay - really, really, really good:) Thank you Sally - we really enjoyed our country break.

Summary: We arrived at the property where we were received by a very warm welcoming host. Sally checked us in very efficiently and gave Us a lot of valuable Information about the neighbourhood and surrounding area. Tranquil setting, the accommodation is very cosy and spotlessly clean. All instructions were clear for everything we needed. We ordered breakfast one day and this was served in our room. The breakfast was delicious and it was presented with love and care. Summary: Lovely scenic area. Quiet country area. Lovely welcome by the host Sally. The annex was lovely and roomy. Very clean. Bed was lovely and big, only downside was the bed is Noisy and creaky but was comfy. Great place to come back to after a day out. Nice to chill out in the bath. Would defo stay here again.
